A Community Nurse appeared on the BBC news last night talking about Tory cuts, wages and her friends having to "sell their houses to be able to afford to live,"

All fine and dandy but it turns out that she has written articles for The Morning Star, a far-left website and is a major buddy of the Sainted Jeremy having spoken on the same platform as him at a CND rally and has had numerous selfies taken with him. I am sure when they vetted her suitability to be on the programme, she just forgot to mention all of this.

Plus she was wearing her uniform to appear on the show which apparently is against the rules of her employment. But as she has clearly done this at several of the rallies she has attended as well, I'm guessing she has some form of exemption.
Yep, apparently not mentioned by the Beeb, of course...

radio news yesterday about 2pm described the last PMQ's and the clash between Corbyn and May and then had a clip of Tim nice but Dim's attack but no mention of any response from May which seemed a bit odd.

They seemed to have missed out in the EU trade commissioner's comments about a free trade deal being done but are still running with Merkel's negative remarks on us being illusional about the outcome. I'm sure it's an oversight. laugh

No, it's an obvious conspiracy to perpetuate project Fear.

Listen to the narrative from the brief BBC headlines! This from the 90 second update at 8pm.

BBC said:
- Conservatives have done well gaining 550 councillors a collapse in support for UKIP helped them

- Not so good for Labour which lost 7 councils but did better than expected in Wales and won important votes for regional Mayors in Manchester and Liverpool

- Lib Dems admitted their results were patchy

- SNP claimed an emphatic win
WHAT THE FRAK!

Edit:

BBC Wales said:
- Labour suffered losses but it wasn't the wipeout some feared

- Conservatives gained one council

When people are coming out claiming it's biased against Corbyn, you know it's time to grab two of each animal and head for the hills

Listening to Any Answers on R4, it appears the BBC have taken heed & entitled today's episode "The Corbyn Labour Love In"

Nuggets like "Corbyn has won every PMQs"

It's a sneaky trick by lefties to counter obvious lefty bias by BBC. You know. After all, order-order did confirm lefty BBC bias. So that's that.

For all of my criticism of the BBC (see above), this weekly programme has arrived on Radio 4 in the run up to the GE, and it's really good. Insightful and (so far, at least) balanced. Worth a listen:

TBH, seems a not unreasonably complaint. I certainly did not know and six seats is a big deal for a small party.

The Greens get a ridiculously easy ride from the media. I'd love someone to pull them up on their batst policies like a zero growth economy, closing prisons and turning military bases into nature reserves

The BBC have become a joke, they used to be the one source of news you could trust, now they are just the mouthpiece of the Tory party.

I am unable to watch BBC current affairs programmes, incuding the news any longer, due to obvious bias. Question time should be titled a party political broadcast on behalf of the Conservatives. Newsnight is the same.

Radio 4 today - 8am.

Yet another piece about how the BREXIT vote was "manipulated" by targeted Facebook advertising.

No you cocksockets, people made their own minds up.

Another example of the BBC taking the view that people are too stupid to make their own decisions. Which they did. You lost. Oh dear how sad never mind.

I think the issue here is that the "left" has had such an easy time from the BBC and similar media over the past 20 years compared to the treatment of the "right" that any rebalancing of the output towards a a more neutral position is instantly interpreted as right wing bias.
Likewise the "failure" of the media (including the BBC) to "listen carefully" (for that read unquestioningly) to Jeremy Corbyn must be hard to understand for many who live in their own twitter/facebook echo chambers of self confirmation.

That having been said, we should rightly be both wary of and critical of any right wing bias that the BBC might display in the future (- however unlikely that scenario may be.). If we are (rightly) demanding an unbiased BBC, it would be hypocritical not to criticise right wing bias as strongly as we have criticised the BBCs traditional left wing bias.

I think that the monumentum whinging lefty Corbyn supporters have a point about the BBC coverage of Corbyn.

The BBC know only too well which side their bread is buttered & an unelectable labour party isn't it.

If Corbyn goes, the chances of labour becoming more electable will probably rise & the BBC can get back to the same old.

Plus, everyone knows that the left whinge about absolutely everything all the time.
