If we were the US, by now we would have armed the remains of Argentina's indigenous population and fomented a rebellion.....

If it's .fk it's the falklands; it's British.
Were it a territory of Argentina it would be Las Malvinas, presumably .mv or similar. Fail to see the issue wink

Cyber squatting.... Getting it changed to .mv?

Don't know how this domain stuff works but seems a bit of a spoilers was in the works perhaps.

Seizing the Argentinian assets of UK, US, and Italian companies isn't going to help their cause - I suspect that a US Navy task force may appear in the area to look after their interests

Especially since those assets are not in argentinian territory, so they can do precisely fack all, unless they want to commit another act of war.

I would believe that when I see it, I got the impression El Pres of the North was trying to butter up the south.

Further reading seems to indicate it is an empty threat.

Edit. Which may or may not be true. Wonder if it is.

will be fun to watch:

Foreign Minister Hector Timerman told local newspaper Tiempo Argentino on Sunday that on Monday he will formally request that the stock exchange regulators in London and New York implement the judge's order.

From the linked article
article said:
It remains unclear how these companies’ assets are supposed to be appropriated from territory officially under the jurisdiction and sovereignty of the United Kingdom. The companies in question do not generally hold any assets in Argentina or use Argentine waters, a source told Reuters.

However, the Argentine prosecutor’s office said it “had identified the assets of the foreign companies and discovered that one of them, the US firm Noble Energy, has a local office registered in Argentina.” Authorities will move to freeze those assets, it said.
So they can freeze 2 printers and 5 desks
The storage costs will cost them more than the value of the items inside a month.

Second Argentine invasion fails!

Front page of the Buenos Aires paper today is about a sailing boat full of hotheaded Argentine students intent on landing on the Falklands. Didn't go terribly well. A storm blew up, the students abandoned to a life raft. An Argentine military aircraft coordinated a rescue but was chased off by an RAF Typhoon.

Stick to the Rugby, my friends. You have more of a chance of winning!

Problem is innocent people will end up getting killed to death in stunts like this because that bitter and twisted old crone witch of the south is banging on about it and she will use that to her advantage. She is nasty.

Putin is yet to emerge down there yet? Bet he is still whispering sweet nothings in her ear and promising her stuff.
