With the price of Diesel now and cant see many advantages over a NA petrol or forced induction petrol nowadays.
2.4 litre diesel, 400 mile run, nearly 60mpg, 800-900 miles on a tank.

That's a good reason...smile

I thought Labour were utterly useless.

The PH (relative) silence on fuel prices is a mystery though.
The Tories only action on fuel duty has been to cut it by 1p a litre, any rise has been due to world oil prices so it is rather pointless to blame this government, hence the silence I imagine.
But I thought that the majority PH view was the Government should massively cut fuel tax to put more money in peoples' pockets, help them get to work, cut freight transport costs and stimulate the economy? What happened to all that?
It's called a structural deficit, courtesy of Blair and Brown...

But the argument 2 years ago was that it would be good for the economy - so it would help with the above problem.
