Of all of the lonely bits of rock we still own, I think St. Helena looks nicest. Here's a couple of pics pulled off Google Maps.

I have several photos of the place (due to work) and really want to see it with my own eyes. I met several St.Helenians in the Falklands and UK, many of them are nice people.
Ascencion on the other hand (been there) is dreadful.

BUT - game fishery is really good around those places. if place is more reachable by tourists it can be another good business for local.
