Only if you believe certain websites and some (a minority) of PHers. Most of my friends are white, most of my colleagues are white, and most of my clients are white. I don't see a "revulsion" of Pakistanis (or any particular group). What I do see is a revulsion of a particular attitude/culture/crime regardless of the ethnic background. So generally the people I associate with will look down on criminals, benefit cheats, and the chav classes regardless of what ethnic background they come from. We don't look down on the Irish because of the actions of some members of the travelling community. Similarly we don't assume that drug dealing is associated with any particular ethnic grouping. Caught the end of an iNteresting documentarty on RT at breakfast, talking about how far right and even Neo Nazi political organisations are growing in popularity. It is not good, but in the face of what is happenening, perhaps understandable that some [especially those who have little power and feeble minds] feel disenfranchised to the point of taking up this sort of action.
Interesting that the leader of the EDL is still insisting - I have no idea what their true agenda actually may be - that they despise nazism, are not against immigrants, homosexuals or other minorities and are only against those who do not respect the UK. To try and afford themselves distance from the BNP, they burn swastikas and are keen to include star of David and even rainbow flags in their gatherings.
It is clear that even away from the loony fringes, the politicians in many european nations are going to have to re-evaluate integration of immigrants.
