The same sort of bored little scamp who starts a fire then throws bricks at the tender when it turns up.

You've got to remember that these are just simple peasants.
These are people of the suburbs.
The common clay of the new Great Britain.

You know... morons.

One can only hope someone who bleeds out on a motorway hard shoulder screaming for the ambulance stuck in traffic.

The sort of people I and thousands others deal with every day ? The people who have an over inflated sense of entitlement. The sort of people that the 'liberals' protect? That the guardian interviews when blaming the police for the riots? I could go on.

You could also ask, what the hell has been done to them in their formative years to think that such behaviour is acceptable? No one starts out bad.

Can't believe I posted that, normally I'm at the front of the torch carrying angry mob. Parenthood really does change you in some odd ways

The first detainee of the new millenium in my custody unit at about 0003 on 1.1.00 was some hero who had kicked a paramedic in the teeth as he was knelt on the pavement treating a patient.
There are plenty of these charmers around unfortunately.

Tosh. It isn't an entire generation, there are millions of decent kids about.

It's a small subset of scum.

You mean makes you realise that as a parent it's YOU who is responsible for making sure your kids don't grow up to be s, and if they do you've not done your job properly.

(Not criticising you specifically Rhino, obviously)

Sadly yes

A number of my good mates are paramedics. They have so many stories of being abused, assaulted, insulted, taken advantage of as a free taxi etc etc

The system allows this to happen and there is little or no recourse.
