Interesting response. We should also remember that three other men and a woman were killed in the operation. funny how their lives appear to have had zero value.

The man's an idiot, everyone knows we lost the moral high ground with Guantanamo Bay.

Who were they? What value did they have?

Not only is the title of this thread disgustingly misleading in an attempt to make Ken Livingstone out to be a supporter of terrorism - he's many things but not that -
Were you around when he was toadying up to Sinn Fein and the IRA and cosying up to Palestinian groups that supported terror attacks?

In my mind anyone living with him in that compound, knowing who he was and what he did, let alone defending him has no value other than negative and, frankly, I'm glad they are dead. Some cancers need killing at the root.

Yep!

Who with half a brain would be within fallout distance of OBL, knowing he was probably the world's most wanted man?

As I said earlier, If you lay down with dogs, You're gonna catch fleas.

So how do you stand regarding Tony Blair, New Labour, non-existant WMD as an excuse for the Iraq war, extraordinary rendition, torture, Gantanamo Bay?

I was kind of wondering when you'd be along to point out my assumed hypocrisy.

Sorry to disappoint but my contempt for TB (sanctioning the death of 100,000s inspired by his God, or was that GWB?) is every bit as high as it is for OBL and his acolytes. It's not that I'd not be bothered if they got what was coming too, more that I'd be equally as happy as when I heard Bin Liner had been topped.

TV comi-dramas aside, if he could be brought to justice a la Hague (or better still Nuremberg Trials II) I'd be well chuffed. So, just to be clear, imo, Blair is in effect/to all intents and purposes a mass murderer... as well as a shameless, populist, money grubbing chancer.

I was thinking that was a bit of a mistake from Ozzie, giving the PH masses a free shot at Blair.

Like anybody on here is suddenly going to defend him! About 90% of ph would gladly put the noose round Blair's neck themselves!

Would we be happy for an Iraqi hit squad to fly into the UK and shoot Tony Blair in his house before flying out again?

May I add his Lordship Peter Meddlesome to that wish list.

Happy? PH would hire out the Virgin Clubhouse at Gatwick to greet them and round up the Ferrari and Lambo boys to ferry them to Blair's gaff!

I know this is being greedy but could we add PressBlott and Chris Huhne to their itinerary. Target practise maybe?
