The current state of PMQs...

Am I alone in finding the jeering and shouting in PMQs appalling? It's an incessant barrage of jeering and shouting, causing those speaking to have to shout to be heard. It's most unseemly, and seems a world away from the civilised tones of yesteryear. It's more akin to a bunch of football hooligans yelling at each other - indeed, how long before there are chants and percussion instruments involved?

I think it's incredibly disrespectful and does none of our political class any favours. Perhaps 'class' is actually what's missing.
Actually, a cursory glance back at Thatcher's era reveals it's not that much different.

Personally, ive no problem with it. In fact I wish they were a little more 'physical' like the Indians, russians and italians, who often come to fistycuffs or throw glasses of water at each other.
At least they seem passionate about the issues.
The worst is the US senate. None of them ever seem to get even mildly worked up about anything there.

Last week when Theresa May was going over the whole Quatada thing, I noticed halfway through the incredibly dull response from Yvette whats-her-name most of the front bench were talking amongst themselves and ignoring her completely.
Well I say this happened last week, in Theresa May's diary it probably says August 2007.
