Is Cameron an utter failure?
Discussion
Two years in and as far as I can see he's delivered nothing.
The country is being swamped with beggers from Eastern Europe, what happened to the immigration controls? Under EU law you need to be able to support yourself to enter another state but it seems Cameron is happy to let EU beggers, criminals and chancers to come here.
He gave another 10 billion to the IMF to prop up the dying euro, while at the same time destroying the NHS.
And what happened to banning car clampers, squatters etc? He's even failed on the simple stuff.

Whilst there's a coalition, both parties can continue to fall back on the argument that they are unable to implement all their policies because of the other party. As it stands, though, I'm sorry to say that he doesn't seem to be achieving much.
Frankly I think he's done little of worth and I am heartily disappointed. No point voting Tory next time.

Vote for Labour = Minigland
Vote for Lib Dem = Minigland
Vote for Tory = Dave
How do we get Ken Clarke on the ballot paper?

That's not his fault - 30 years' worth of treaties secure freedom of movement for all EU citizens. Spain isn't especially happy about the tens of thousands of British retirees that have ruined the costas. Given the ststorm in Europe right now, renegotiating that treaty is far from everyone's minds. The country is being swamped with beggers from Eastern Europe, what happened to the immigration controls? That was as much to help us as it was to help the Euro - the IMF money gets lent to banks, who are then able to lend multiples of it back to us. Without it, the global economy seizes up and we have to pay a lot more to borrow to cover our debts.sjn2004 said:

That received Royal Assent on the First of May and is now enacted into law.http://services.parliament.uk/bills/2010-12/protec...

Still waiting for your list of dodgy EU geezers.

Don't think of it as voting Tory, think of it as voting NOT Labour. No point voting Tory next time.
DC hasn't under-delivered/disappointed any more than TB, they just aren't slick about covering it up.
Let's be honest, the immigration/borders chaos falls firmly at the feet of New labour. You can't stop the flood once the dam has burst.
The question you should ask is what unholy mess would we be in now if Gordon had got back in?
What DC has achieved is giving the country economic credibility, and kept our credit rating high, which has made things a hell of a lot less messy than they would have been. Time will tell if they merely delayed the inevitable though.
my 2p: He's not a failure, corrupt, or even incompetent . . .he's just average, which is a pity, as we need somebody who is a cut above the rest, to sort out the mess labour left the UK in.
A Cameron and Osborne free Conservative / UKIP coalition would be my ideal choice, at this present time.

Actually you need to be able to support yourself if you go to another member state. Turning up jobless and penniless is not part of the game and you can be repatriated so why are 100,000's getting away with it?sjn2004 said:

What Cameron has done, as someone else mentioned, is bring credibility of the UK to the financial markets. Credibility that no other EU country with such a pile of debt has. And credibility that we wouldn't have if Labour were in power.
This allows us to re-engineer the economy and wean the country off debt (a bit too slowly in some cases admittedly) without hitting the rocks and suffering mass depression.

I heard an analyst say that just having Tories in power takes about .5% off the rate of interest we have to pay on any new borrowing, just because the market has that much more confidence. What Cameron has done, as someone else mentioned, is bring credibility of the UK to the financial markets. no he's just lame.
He's out of his depth, lacks vision, lacks intelligence, lacks life experience, who has never HAD to work for a living, never had a real job.
You might just as well give Borat the job.
Mind you I'm not sure how many MP's have worked for a living.
What I do know is that not one of them has an Engineering, Science or Technology Background, and if it's Designing and Making, and Investing stuff that's going to lead us to salvation, not one of them knows a thing about it.

Perhaps if we paid our MPs a decent six-figure salary we might attract some bright people out of the private sector to become MPs.He's out of his depth, lacks vision, lacks intelligence, lacks life experience, who has never HAD to work for a living, never had a real job.

I consider myself to be distinctly normal in terms of my ability and success and yet earn more than an MP.
