I'm sure we all endanger our health by undertaking activities we enjoy, like driving fast, non? And we'd expect to be taken care of if the need arose?

If you read the article, it's her parents' fault really.
We wouldn't let someone starve a child, but malnutrition by overfeeding is somehow ok?

Haaang on, I've sat on the toilet for way longer than 20 minutes and it hasn't hurt, I've hard an arse that gradually goes a bit numb after the half hour mark but really come on!
To be honest I'm surprised she can sit on the bog without the seat breaking.

The picture of her when she had been to fat camp was rather sweet - she's a pretty little thing underneath.
Such a sad story as she clearly has absolutely no support. The mother should be charged with child abuse.

 I heard this on BBC radio on the way in, when they said it took all the emergency services, scaffolders and two walls to be demolished I thought there had to be some media poetic licence involved. How wrong was I... She should have been taken away and put into care, that is child abuse plain and simple. And her mother, if you can call her that, should be charged for it.
