these accusations are a joke.
Surely that is for the court to decide, just like those from Sweden or Australia.

A dating site?

Those bastions of honesty and transparency?

The first ever to be integrated with a genuine bonafide UN program?

A 22yo woman member?

Who let her 8yo sister use her login?

While enjoying a luxury yachting holiday?

While staying in the Bahamas, with ... hmmm ... the deputy director of the Department of Social Services?

And by some weird coincidence, the world's most famous alleged sexual fugitive just happened to choose this 8yo for online sex?

And whose parents found out and IDed Assange?

(scratches chin)

Seems totally legit.

Word is they were pressured by Kerry during the FARC talks.

Assange was never proven a liar in any respect. He is an advocate for truth.

"Word is" = scherzkeks would prefer to believe this.

Assange has the opportunity to prove he is not a liar by facing charges in a Swedish court. That he is avoiding the court does not help to demonstrate his honesty.

The guy is a weapons grade prick IMHO, but in his position I'd be avoiding Sweden too. I live in Scandinavia, sex crimes are rarely pursued with any vigour at all and the chance of conviction is tiny. The penalties are tiny too, even if convicted. There's more to the Swedes chasing this than meets the eye...they would do well to put their own house in order as their rape rates are massive, but rarely punished.

Surprised to see you taking the Assange side.

In any case, there's nothing in the released emails, so it's difficult to see why the Democrats would even bother.

Well I am not taking his side, but it does rather seem a coincidence.

I have no love for Assange, but I have no love for the Washington Mafia either.

They've explained why. Their explanation makes perfect sense to people who don't believe idiotic conspiracy theories.

I've pointed out that you have no knowledge of why they did it. None of us know.

Time to slither off now?

You have no knowledge, other than what they have said, but you prefer to believe something else. I will therefore "slither off" to do other things, while you obsess over your absurd worldview.

Ecuador can have their cake and eat it. They can temporarily prevent Assange from causing mischief while he stays at their lesuire, thus currying favour whilst also being honour bound to give him sanctuary thus currying favour.
Smart play.
