Yeah, look at the Scottish independence thread. Unionists just completely ignoring important issues, disingenuous and biased debate and numerous prejudiced (near racist) broad brush statements...
O... K...
Glad you agree!

I've long thought that threads posted in NPE should be real, proactively moderated debates where AdHom is dealt with by thread bans and people who choose to ignore points or questions directed at them should have their access to NPE revoked, as they clearly arent interested in genuine debate.
If you applied that in the real world, we wouldn't have any politicians.

I think that's a little more accurate - VP himself being amongst the major culprits

Indeed, there is an awful lot of ad hom, attacking the poster, misdirection, just blatant trollishness.
It can get a bit tiring.
So back to the argument, have we found Maddie yet?

The Mossad killed her, she worked on the Iraqi nuclear program.

Oh no, just have a peruse at the Scots inde thread and draw your own conclusions. Don't whatever you do engage VP in any debate - you will forever regret it. Winston Churchill might have said: The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with Viper Pict LOL

I was being quite ironic!

The issue is bias based on a non-representative demographic (a lot of the PH right wing old boys massive!). Arguments are CLAIMED to be won purely on the number of people taking a particular position. There's a lot of patting each other on the back going on...

I've read some of it...I thought in this thread he was being as pointed toward himself as his sparring partners.

He's quite evidently a bit mental in the other thread smile

Bear in mind that while I am on assanges side at this point in that I think its a ploy for the Americans to get to him that the info has come from his legal team. While it should be true and reliable it is wisest not to simply assume truth.

Granted, but lets apply some perspective. Would the Swedish prosecutors release a piece of information relating to such a high profile case which makes the allegations look so fraudulent fake made up questionable?

It's all the more reason why he should get himself back to Sweden, if the evidence doesn't stack up he'll be acquitted and can get on with life

Indeed.

And wasn't the accusation that he didn't use a nodder?

Assange and his team aren't that well known for a bit of self-supporting publicity after all.

That is completely contrary to the issue here. His argument is as soon as he sets foot on swedish soil he will be in effect handed over to the americans and this whole sex allegation is to achieve that goal.

Yes, that's what he says, it's complete nonsense though as has been explained a number of times on this thread. He's just scared of ending up in Swedish jail with his reputation shot as a convicted rapist.

Really? So the primary evidence that they have built both cases against him on in is in theory trumped up as there was none of his dna evident. Of course. Every reason to hand himself over when more and more keeps coming out disproving the allegations against him.

So far...

Both females are known to have socialised with him after the event quite happily.
One of them even bragged about the time she had spent with him after the event.
One allegation where he was said to have intentionally split a condom is proven a lie a since there is none of his dna on said condom.
Another allegation that he had sex with the other woman while she was asleep is now deeply suspect since the first appears to have lied about the condom being split by him
A UK gov dept threatened to remove the embassies protected status and storm it to take him into custody. A threat that is pretty much unhread of being made all because he is alleged to have commited sexual offences in a foreign country which just looks very suspect.

Long and short it is looking more and more like he has no charges to answer. Sorry if that doesnt fit with your idea of justice but it looks more and more like this is as he has said from the start a set up to get him extradited to the US.

As has been said several times, if it was just about getting him extradited the the US, it would have been easier to do it from the UK rather than fabricate aa story to get him sent to Sweden.
