US Banker explains his ideals
Discussion
Jon Stewart's very funny The Daily Show has American banker Edward Conard from Baines on to promote his new book. The interview goes from the usual 10 minutes to over an hour, wait for the extras, that I found facinating.
If you have the time, do watch.

Google "Watch Daily Show in UK", and you'll find a workaround quite easily. Comedy Central's geolocation is quite weak... -edit-
It's always a source of wonder to me that the most insightful news analysis on American TV comes from Comedy Central.

"UK digital TV channel, More4, has dropped The Daily Show from it’s daily schedule, opting instead to just show the week-late Daily Show Global Edition once a week. FX UK has already dropped The Colbert Report. But Viacom still restricts the videos to people with British online accounts, due to some IT person still believing the UK broadcast contracts are still valid.
So, is there another way to get these all important slices of America on a timely and legalish basis*?"
Winkers.

The political right hate Jon Stewart but in a poll in 2009 he was voted the "newsman" that Americans trust the most! They used to show the Daily Show on C4 in England?

Considering there's over 200 million people in the US the viewing figures for their TV shows seem tiny. Is it because they have so much choice or perhaps that you have to have the right cable package to see certain shows?
300millions plus, third or fourth largest population.Yeah, I bet all the different systems/networks/channels are the reason. They have no BBC so it was just a messy free for all with very few shows getting 'syndication' (a term I heard a lot about US shows on their networks.)
Look at the kind of mental figures the UK got back when there was only 3/4 channels and a population of 55millions.
