You're absolutely right.

TBH it's all mumbojumbo to me. If religion helps one to be nicer to your fellow human (or any living creature really), or gives one focus, or inner peace, whatever, whatever, then cool but I'm quite happy with my assumption that religion is just another form of control which to be frank, I neither want nor need.
