Ok here's the deal....

What would be stopping us from forming a new party ?

Think about it, we would be guaranteed a large number of votes from the off with the huge database of members we have.

So, planning ahead, what would be our opening gambit with Joe Public in terms of policies etc on the following:-

Education.

Transport.

Medical ( NHS etc ).

Social and benefits.

You get the drift.....

Damn sure we have some very level headed people on here and i welcome your input.

Have you seen the arguments on threads in this place? And that's between people who have a common interest and to some extent politically aligned. Trying to make a functioning political party out of the members of PH is less likely than UKIP being voted into power at the next general election.

It would be dull around here if everybody had the same opinion, that said the most common source of disagreement between individuals often involves somebody with a curious shortage of drivers' cars in their profile (or none) and a grade one chip on their shoulder, looking to stir the pot.

I think PH is pretty diverse and you're not going to get closer to getting a few PH votes than UKIP, when the tories are having a bad day.

Hmm, come to think of it.....

Would any of us refer to another member as ' the right honourable gentleman ' ?

If elected to power i would immediately declare war on MLM's using all of our military might if need be.

Next i would declare the human rights act null and void in the UK.

Forget a political party. Could be an effective lobbying group if it wasn't part of Haymarket.

Hahaha - I wouldn't give the coalition long given the polarised views on any topic under the sun here...
