2 years max I think. Which is a shame. Coulson will be serving a stretch for perjury anyway.

Fingers crossed, toes crossed, arms, legs, eyes crossed. Starting to get funny looks from my co-pilot.

Acquittals for the big two. Coulson and Brooks.

Dave to Ken: "Sometimes there can be no justice.....they have done a lot for us…....will you see to it?"
Ken to Dave: "Them cigars....and no more peddling and references to that erm referendum.....and while we’re on it my jazz collection needs organising…."
Dave to Ken: "Thank you Uncle Ken".

All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Few months for the Brookes would be nice even if she only served a few weeks they think they are untouchable.

Anything less than 10 years will not be long enough, but anything will be a start.

Brookes says - I am not guilty, I'm distressed and angry.

She is probably right about middle and the end bit.

is she says she is not guilty then it goes to trial and the courts will decide.

she might change her plea on the court steps going in....

imagine a jury finding the leader and editor of the paper at the centre of the hacking scandal not guilty because she says she didn't know of this going on....I've got a pretty vivid imagination and I cannot see that happening...

"so ms Brookes, as editor, leader and top manager with full editorial control you had no idea, and never thought to ask where this information was coming from..from dead peoples' 'phones, 100's of celebrities and PI involvement - and you say you had no idea who authorised the £1m compensation for the CEO of the Football Association or Max Clifford - for example - that wasn't you either?????"

/paxman mode on....Hmmmmmmm

over to you

News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch arrived in London last July to take charge of a burgeoning phone-hacking scandal and was asked by reporters what his priority was.
“This one,” the 81-year-old media mogul snapped, gesturing to red-haired Rebekah Brooks, the chief executive of his company’s U.K. publishing business, who was standing at his side.

Will Rupert stand by this woman?
