Wrong...

Streaming it on incognito mode is the only way, surely?

Incognito mode only affects things at your end (history, cookies, temp files etc etc), it doesn't stop your ISP or the site you are visiting collecting the data it normally would IIRC.

Yes but the point I'm making is I'm streaming it, none of it is on my HD. Incognito is obviously to save time deleting history.

What I meant is why would someone torrent porn when its so easily accessible on sites similar to youtube...

Indeed - not that I'd know myself paperbag , but apparently there is a whole host of free samples out there so why would someone want to pay for stuff?

You're still responsible for your own connection.
Since when? Care to cite any legislation, or any case law that suggests this?
Yeah, I'm curious to hear it.
It's often trolled out, but as yet I've seen no evidence of this being the case?

As suggested above, how about BTfon users who allow other users to piggyback their network, or indeed, any open public wifi network.

If I leaver my garden hose connected, and somebody uses it to drown somebody else, am I responsible?
hehe

Not just samples, plenty of complete stuff which will stream through free at good quality. You need to be prepared to see some dodgy thumbnails sometimes though while browsing..

Judging by the wording of the letter (now available in the OP's Beeb article) it looks like they're going after the p2p uploaders, rather than dads who are just trying to whack-off before mum comes back from Tesco.
