Blimey, I wonder how long he had to fall before he had enough of a reference point to realise he was falling. Also I wonder how high up you can jump from before you need to propel yourself towards the earth to get started or else float off in the wrong direction. Also I wonder what he did to pass the time while falling........I should probably send him an e-mail biggrin

I read a bit about this guy. Fascinating to hear him say that when he jumped it was completely silent, and he had no sensation of falling....then as the air got thicker the noise came, and before long the wind was rushing past. What an experience that must have been. I also remember watching his helmet-cam thing and he literally jumpoed out of his balloon, then looked up a couple of seconds later and it was miles away already. Brilliant footage....that reminds me, my wife asked me to film her, pulling........
