Just watched Cameron opening the global investment conference to world leaders - he's just like Bliar.
He made one of his 'cool' quips (when mentioning Battersea) about Pink Floyd,
'Some of you may have heard of them'.

The message is supposed to be 'Invest here in Britain'

He spoke in front of a backdrop

'This is GREAT' (in huge letters!)
with the word 'BRITAIN' so small it was barely legible.

rolleyes ...probably about right!

I thought his comments on the punitive corporate tax regime that seems to be growing in France were quite apt, i.e. "If france wants to charge huge tax on businesses that's great and we will welcome them to Britain with open arms".

Franky I agree, if Europe wants to start taxing business heavily then we need to make ourselves more attractive to outside investment by creating a low tax area within Europe.

Please desist from posting anything relevant to Cameron's speech, this thread is another solely for Cameron haters to have a whine - the topic is just a vehicle to allow that.

Understood. I will go and cut my fingers off whilst the thread contributors cut their noses off to spite their faces.

Errr......No of course not sillybilly.

But Carmeron stating the Britain has 'the best' universities in the world is not true. If he'd have said 'some of the best', absolutely true....

Not exactly on the Kim Jong IL scale of porkies but still a porky.
