There's a surprising number of results if you search for John Prescott Thai Brides.
Indeed. The Wail story has been pulled but there's plenty of others.http://www.sickchirpse.com/2012/07/29/john-prescot...

Once in a while there is someone who comes along who you like and dislike equally. In my lifetime I have been lucky to see two such people in the media. John Prescott is one and Silvio Berlusconi is the other. They're the sort of people you'd be sat down the pub with and as they tell you what they'd done at work you'd reply "you did what!?!? You fking idiot. Drink up lets get a kebab"

Yes, I thinks it's down to responsible types like us to ensure that John Prescott's twitter gaffe involving Thai brides & his comments directed to Grant Shapps is kept in the public eye.
John Prescott, searching for Thai Brides and his comments to Grant Shapps you say?Edit:
OC are on the front page - how'd they manage that?

Apparently all is not what it seems with this story and maybe the fatman is telling the truth.
Disappointing if true but stands to reason what with the Mail article being purged so effectively from the web.

Meanwhile, Scrapbook’s report of adverts for Thai brides on Shapps’ website last week saw the MP lash out at John Prescott, accusing him of looking for a far-eastern wife on the web. With Prezza merely re-tweeting our blog post, the Mail on Sunday were forced to pull a defamatory article which repeated Shapps’ smear.
After those who had originally seen the ads denying they had been on such sites, analysis by Political Scrapbook yesterday shows that the ads were likely displayed owing to content on Shapps’ website, which contains 15 mentions of Thailand including a specific reference to mail order brides:
“are you sure she is not from thailand and is a mail order bride[?]“
With Shapps pulling the ads from his site, perhaps he has taken the time to familiarise himself with Google’s contextual targeting.

Not really. The first reply on this thread mentioned this by saying that if not his own work then Presclot should at least have checked it out before repeating what he was told to repeat - and to add to that, maybe his son should have checked it out if the rumours we hear are true i.e. that John is in fact David, a wannabe major politico himself.
It's mentioned in the online search result for the pulled article.
