Fatty Prescott looking for Thai Brides

It's one of two situations shirley?

1. Presclot is alleged to have visited the Grant Shapps site and as a result saw a Thai Bride advert. However the Presclot defence which was released immediately claimed that he was simply repeating information he had received. If the defence is wide of the mark then all that can be said is that somebody who used the computer that Presclot uses had also searched online for Thai Brides as this presumably caused the ad to pop up. This would not be as damaging as the original storyline.

2. The person passing the information to Presclot, or somebody using their computer, had previously searched online for Thai Brides - and in repeating the information neither the initial viewer of the Shapps site nor Presclot were aware of how the ads pop up based on search history...when in receipt of this story you would expect Presclot to check the site out and if he had done so and there was no history of online searches for Thai Brides on the computer Presclot was using, he would have noticed the distinct absence of such adverts and smelt a rat.

The issue over ghost writing complicates it a bit, but not much.

Either just serves to underscore his ignorance, while arrogantly pointing the finger at someone else, which is actually more damaging in my view.

I know exactly what you mean, there is some sort of honesty about him.

If you took blair and unzipped his skin you would find a lizard would then run off and eat you children where as with Prescott you would find john Prescott would would then wander off in his constant search for a decent pie.

^Indeed. When you're best character defence is based on "well he ain't a lying sh8t like Bliar" then you have problems. Besides i don't think Tony ever pretended to be a socialist, whereas Prescott has made a career of it.
