She had fewer than 2000 vote maj. over Labour (both in the 20,000 vote area). Lib/Dems were 3rd trailing by miles with BNP in 4th with about 2k votes. No other parties stood. This will be a 2 horse race again... Labour will do everything to win this.

CON 42.2 LAB 38.6 LD 14.5 BNP 4.7 No one with a big reputaiton (i.e. Boris or Farage) would chance it. Labour party need to take it to show their lead in the opinion polls isn't a mirage.

No one with a big reputaiton (i.e. Boris or Farage) would chance it. Labour party need to take it to show their lead in the opinion polls isn't a mirage. DC should put up Warsi

She was hardly bragging about it though was she - said she condemned it, wished she'd never done it and it had left her with long-term medical problems. Frankly, if (very big if, I grant you!) a kid is going to listen to anyone about drugs ,is it going to be to the likes of me (never tried it) or to the likes of her (tried it and condemns it from experience)

Not that I'm condoning it, but I think it'd be silly to reject someone soley on the basis that they used to take drugs.

Lets hope she hasn't been doing it for long enough to get the pension, also as she signed up for four years can she pay the costs of the new election.
