And I wonder where society is heading when people come off with stuff like this. Anyway, wrong thread. They have my condolences Sorry, I just think it's a bit weird when the media invade people's grief to begin with. By all means report it as a story because I guess the guy is in the public eye, but I think it's strange when they add on trivia dressed up as news that "Marvin from JLS has tweeted his condolences".

I can only guess that those that give a s t (15 year old girls?) would be interested that Marvin from JLS is friends with Gary Barlow. Edit: Mind you, when this was all fields, if Barlow had lost a child, Marvin would have been interviewed and been quoted on TV or radio... Twitter is just another medium.

I do understand your point, to be fair. I think it's a sign of the times; fifty years ago, people might have written in with their support. I'm no fan of Twitter, but I suppose if that's what people are using, then that's what will be reported. Regardless, this needs stamped on. Freedom of speech is one thing, and I'm sure the apologists will run with that for as long as they can. But nobody wants to read this.

What would he be arrested for, he doesn't appear to have done anything illegal at all, just acting like an idiot.

I'm sure there must be something they could do him for so he can spend a few days with big Frank in D Wing. He'll get some manners and a nice soft cushion to sit on from his Mom.

What a first class . GB done great things in music done great things for charity which will help improve the lives of millions of true poverty. Regardless of that I cannot imagine why you'd want to say something like that to your worst enemy let alone a stranger who by all accounts seems a genuinely nice chap.

His posting makes it clear he's a complete tosser. Ignore the t t and let him return to obscurity, preferably pursued by the tax man.

What he is saying is obscene, he has breached the Obscene Publications law (as has Twitter but the UK has no authority or jurisdiction over Twitter). Free Speech doesn't mean you can say what you like and damn the consequences, it means you can openly critcise the government but not a lot else.

Making a Joke on TV to a general audience is one thing, doing the online equivalent of knocking on someones front door and repeatedly saying "haha your baby is dead" is something else entirely. If you fail to see the difference then you are either being obtuse, are a bit thick or you're trolling for lulz Anyway, it's made the papers today which I suspect was the little c-nts intention http://news.google.co.uk/news/story?q=kenneth+tong...I wouldn't be surprised if he gets his collar felt shortly.

I presume the Mail has already gotten hold of this with their latest buzzphrase of "vile Twitter trolls"?

I met this guy (Kenny Tong) a few years back, maybe 2006/7 - he was in Edinburgh and was a friend of a friend. He was a bit of a Scott Alexander but didn't seem like a particularly offensive little guy. Weird how people change behaviour.

Just had a look at his tweets, if I was Gary I would find him myself. What a cnunt.
I don't get twitter myself but it should have some sort of control on what is posted, surely a moderator should delete his account ?
