No

Just because westminister/holyrood does something stupid doesn't make it okay for holyrood/westminister to do something stupid

But in the case Al whatever his name was I really feel he was innocent but thats another debate

At least part of the issue of how an independent Scotland would be structured is not really a question that the SNP have the right to answer since there is no certainty my any stretch of the imagination that they will be in a position of power post-independence to make those decisions! All they can really honestly come up with are a range of potential options/ scenarios for who the country will be organised. There are, by definition, a lot of uncertainties and it is up to the electorate to decide what direction they want Scotland to take post independence.

So yet again you expect the population of Scotland to vote yes and vote yes with enthusiasm

But you can't tell me exactly what i'm meant to vote yes to

The idea that the first party to govern a independent scotland will build the future of Scotland is frankly scarey as we know it is going to be the scottish conservatives

They will bring maggie back

The current crop of SNP's, can afford to buy this drug for their loved ones and they are too concerned with making sure all the druggies get their FREE PRESCRIPTIONS than the less fortunate ladies with certain types of cancer as well as MS sufferers who cannot be given drugs in Scotland to help their lives.

Its a disgrace and all these pillocks that keep trumpeting the virtues of independance are partly to blame for this.

It can only get worse should turnip heid get his devious ways with the help of the " literate illegitimates " who vote for him.

The independence vote will be in 2014, with a general election held in 2015. The SNP would therefore spend the following 6 months (until probably May 2015) negotiating/starting the set up of the post independent scotland. At this point the new party will emerge and take over since it will be completely scotland focused unlike the SNP/Scottish tories/scottish labour. Or the SNP will disband and the members will go back to the scottish labour/tory parties and one of them will get into power, or they will join the new party and take power that way. Or, more likely in my opinion, the SNP will ride a wave of popularity and win the Scottish general election and get to finish deciding the structure of scotland. If they can old together for the next two years i can well imagine they will hold together for the following 6 months as it will be all their best chances of power. So the SNP will have a major effect on how scotland will look: the next two years will havea big effect on that: the choices that are available now or in 2 years regarding joining the EU/Schengen/currency won't change. Well they might, the Euro could disappear i guess.

Support for independence dropping even further, down to 28%. Will only get worse for Salmond when the courts force him to stop hiding information.

Quite disappointed in people who waste time and energy worrying about how to organise and independent Scotland. You'd be as well organising a Martian government.

Bill Hill's offer 7/1 for independence by 2020. Classic case of 'put a fiver on, and you'll get 0 back'.

Well lets see if anyone from the YES side is brave enough to put their money where their mouth is?

I'll take donations at 10/1, as I'm probably better at investments than Uncle Bill.

PM me for bank details, don't bother, I won't need yours.
