What, selling of assets like school playing fields you mean? And then lying about it. That sort of thing?
Labour sold off hundreds in their time.

Nonsense. You post stuff, and attempt to justify it, but fail miserably when pushed.

I'm afraid not. If I devoted any sort of real attention to this and did some research then I'd be genuinely engaging in the economic issues. But I really do not. Anyone can learn anything if they put their mind to it but I chose to devote my time to things that are either important (i.e., day to day ste) or that intrinsically interest me. Economics does not interest me.

Of course however you seem to hold Labour above the conservatives on some kind of pedestal when they are just a different bunch of wkers.

Just because I slag off the Tories does not mean that, by default, I like Labour.

Quite the opposite really. How can a party (in Scotland) be taken seriously when their leader looks like wee Jimmie Krankie...

Saw a documentary about them and they seemed like a pretty cool couple! Not nearly as annoying as you'd think.

Been together nearly 50 years since they were both 18. Something to be admired in that these days...

I still hate the Tories though. wink

This has probably already been dicussed (I haven't read the whole thread), but if Scotland became independent, wouldn't that mean that Labour would lose a lot of their support in England? Then we might perhaps get a conservative party (not necessarily the Conservative party), and we could start to undo all the damage done by in recent years by politically-correct, multi-culti politicians.
Not sure if it would be good for Scotland, but it could be very good for England.

Well, not automatically, but it would go a long way to help.

A very conservative party you mean? The Tories not being far enough right?
