Which from reading around appears to be the general view of things. An evens debate with a sidebar that Romney appeared to present a more "peaceful" orientation of himself than had previously been seen.

Not really wrong, I'd imagine the US army does have less horses than 1916. He didn't say they had no horses, did he? Funny that the article also misinterpreted "fewer" as "none" and didn't actually get into the numbers, but far be it from me to suggest there is bias in that "fact check".

Still, I don't agree that your fact check link makes Barry'O look dumb and petty, it doesnt really tackle the underlying point he made which was there are less horses and bayonets in the army now than 100 years ago, despite them still forming a part of the armies operational capability.
