Apparently Newt Gingrich is "Dumbfounded" by Obama's extraordinary victory and the fact that Romney polled more than 2 million fewer votes than John McCain did in 08!

Really Newt?

This surely can't be the same Newt that said of Romney;

Newt said:
We're not going to beat Barack Obama with some guy who has Swiss bank accounts, Cayman Island accounts, owns shares of Goldman Sachs while it forecloses on Florida and is himself a stockholder in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac while he tries to think the rest of us are too stupid to put the dots together to understand what this is all about.
Newt again said:
He's a Massachusetts moderate who, in fact, is pretty good at managing the decay. He’s given no evidence in his years in Massachusetts of any ability to change the culture or change the political structure.
Newt too said:
He doesn't tell the truth
Good Ole Newt said:
I took very seriously the Etch A Sketch comments of his director of communications. ... You can't run a campaign with no principles and win the United States.
it's Newt again said:
I've been Romney-boated.... Somebody who will lie to you to get to be president, will lie to you when they are president
Believe it or not it's Newt said:
Is capitalism really about the ability of a handful of rich people to manipulate the lives of thousands of other people and walk off with the money, or is that somehow a little bit of a flawed system?... I do draw a distinction between looting a company, leaving behind broken families and broken neighborhoods, and leaving behind a factory that should be there
Doesn't the speaker ever shut up said:
Now, for Romney to believe that somebody’s grandmother is going to be so cut off she is going to self deport… He certainly shows no concern for the humanity of people who are already here… I think you have to live in worlds of Swiss bank accounts and Cayman Island accounts and automatic $20 million a year income with no work to have some fantasy this far from reality
blow me if it isn't Newt again said:
Maybe Governor Romney in the spirit of openness should tell us how much money he’s made off of how many households that have been foreclosed by his investments
this probably isn't helping him Newt said:
Those of us who believe in free markets and those of us who believe that in fact the whole goal of investment is entrepreneurship and job creation, we find it pretty hard to justify rich people figuring out clever legal ways to loot a company, leaving behind 1,700 families without a job.

Priceless. rofl

There's always the whackjobs, although the further south you go....

The ones who want to escape "big government" by going to live in Canada are the funniest. hehe

Well, BO doesn't have to worry about re-election, so he can pretty much go full bore on attempting to do what he needs to. Crossing the aisle is, as you say, a smart move. It puts the Republicans in the position of actually having the choice to either work together to achieve something, or not. How they react will mark the next 4 years for the US population.
I doubt Romney will do it. He's consumed with biterness and sour grapes at the moment.
