Apparently Newt Gingrich is "Dumbfounded" by Obama's extraordinary victory and the fact that Romney polled more than 2 million fewer votes than John McCain did in 08!

This surely can't be the same Newt that said of Romney;

Well, BO doesn't have to worry about re-election, so he can pretty much go full bore on attempting to do what he needs to. Crossing the aisle is, as you say, a smart move. It puts the Republicans in the position of actually having the choice to either work together to achieve something, or not. How they react will mark the next 4 years for the US population.

I doubt Romney will do it. He's consumed with biterness and sour grapes at the moment.
