No offence like. One thing I'm sure about - there will eventually be a head-to-head in the west as I don't see the nutters chilling-out any time soon & their influence appears to be growing.
We (the west) currently have the upper hand as regards the ability to wage wars and win them. Should we strike while the iron's hot or should we let allahs mob catch up?
Definitely not, a futile endeavour.

As for catch up, that's not the game plan, just a distraction.

I wonder what Sun Tzu would have said about that conundrum.
I've not read the art of war (yet), so what would Sun Tzu have said?

Modern society has no place for religion.

If you want to eat your cardboard bread & drink stty wine, burpee to Mecca or chop your foreskin off and smash wine glasses then do it in private and don't try and enforce your st on those who just want to get on with their lives.

They have been getting a foothold since the early 1970's, is it too late to act?

The politicians are now running so scared of the mosques that anything could happen.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "act".

I think that was conan but the gist is the same i'm sure.

Niccolo Machiavelli said this, would seem appropriate.

"There is no avoiding war, it can only be postponed to the advantage of your enemy"

It puts what was said at the Downing Street gate the other day into perspective doesn't it?

The difference being of course that the Pakistani minister will get to keep his job. In fact he'll probably be looking at promotion.
