From my very limited French dreuz.info appears to be a far right website. Googling keywords from the article only brings up other extremist websites.
I'm not saying it didn't happen - however it would be useful if somebody could provide links to a mainstream English website?
Good point. French isn't my strong point. Feel free to disregard.I'm not saying it didn't happen - however it would be useful if somebody could provide links to a mainstream English website?

I don't like links from far right sources. I know what ours are over here but obviously have no idea about foreign ones.
I would suggest anything from a site like that should be taken with a pinch of salt unless backed up by something more serious.
The comments at the bottom are a heap of pro Le Pen backslapping.I would suggest anything from a site like that should be taken with a pinch of salt unless backed up by something more serious.

It's a genuine question. I would have thought the whole point of any religion is the desire for everyone to follow suit and join you.
Doesn't bother me. Religion is just a badge, it's the morals/attitudes/actions that are important. So the fact that somebody's a "good" Muslim/Christian/atheist is more important than the religion they are a part of.essexplumber said:

Definitely not the whole point of all religions (for example Judaism, Baha'i, hinduism...)However, islam and Christianity are proselytising religions. The aim of proselytising religions is to spread the faith and convert as many people as possible, and the aim of islam is world domination.

Well I'd rather chew my own eyeballs than convert to Islam so they would fail in that objective.I think we can take from the content of this thread that as a whole no one has very much to fear from Islam. 99% of Muslims just want to exsist and don't subscribe to the views of the 1% of extremists despite the fact that the extreme few grab so much headline space.
I'm not saying that we will all live side by side in racial harmony (on pianos ) but I won't be buying a gun and shelter anytime soon.

The other guy is talking bks. Islam, like Christianity is an evangelical religion. The cliche of domination is borne out of scare stories that date back as far as the crusades and the Moorish occupation of Spain. If Islam were entirely devoted to domination then the entire Christian and Jewish population of Spain would have been exterminated by the Moors. It wasn't, because that was not their aim. The same applies to the Indian subcontinent. It varies from year to year. Sometimes it comes top, sometimes it comes third. It's not about posting alarmist handwringing stuff. It's an indicator of the reality of the situation. It's funny to say a statistic is misleading. A statistic is a statistic. You have to know how to draw the right conclusions from any statistic. You point out that Muhammad (or variants of it)is the only muslim name in the top 100, which gives more clarification on the situation.
That's my point though. Out of context that statistic is utterly meaningless , yet it has been widely used on here and in the tabloids to 'prove' that immigration is out of control and to imply that immigrant births are higher than non immigrant births. In reality, though , it is just complete bks and there is no significant relevance whatsoever to it. Yet how many people know that stat and use it in the same manner as you? Far too manyessexplumber said:
