Jesus did endorse all of the above. He said "All that has been written before me, is surely the word of God". I'll find the passage for you when I have more time.
How do you know what this Jesus chap said? Everythng I've seen was written down years and years after his death. Dont beleive they've ever found anything that was written by him.

I think all these people bleating on about multiculturalism and celebrating diversity need to take a long hard look at the situation.
How dare you even suggest it, you racist. I'm going to burn my house to the ground in protest.wobble
Whilst by questioning the original point I by no means would refer to you as a racist. Plenty of sweeping generalisation though. How many of these ethnic minorities protested compared to how many there are in this country. I'd be surprised if it even amounted to 1%.

But the big fear is that the other 99% may support the 1%,but remains silent, the unknown is always problem in any situation like this

If they remain silent is it really a problem?

Of course not, the 1% are more than capable of killing enough innocents.

Why are the Muslims so bad at PR? They seem to shoot themselves in the foot at every opportunity .

They don't give a fk what we think of them, we are inferior infidels and therefore we should be killed or converted.

But you then have the unknown of how many of the remaining people would if they feel offended by a cartoon or a film start protesting or worse,
as I said it is the fear of the unknown .

If that is their aim, they're making fantastic progress.

It seems as if they've been born without the embarrassement chip. To get so wound over a stty little film, or the accidental burning of some books, to the point where it triggers the issuing of fatwas and killing ambassadors is a sure sign of some kind of mental illness.

And for a supposedly modern government to actually allow everybody a day off work so they can protest 'peacefully' against such things is just medievil, pathetic, backward, and downright spiteful.

The world should cut its aid and ties with Pakistan, not just for this, but for knowingly protecting the 'man' behind 9/11.

If the civilised world had any rose-tinted dreams that the muslim world was ready to come on board, then recent events have made it clear that they are not even close. In fact I'd go as far as to say they are further away than ever.

Well Put - This is also very thought provoking. I did a bit of research, and the facts he quotes, appear to be very factual

Thanks for sharing that, and unfortunately it's not a big lie.

Couldn't agree more.

Only in as much as Islamics seem to be the only religion constantly carping-on about how their followers are persecuted & not subject to the rules that everyone else are whilst seemingly displaying misogyny on an epic scale & intolerance to anyone who expresses any viewpoint which offends at least one of them.

It smells of fear & control - the fear is that they will loose their control over the masses.

Personally, I dismissed Islam years ago as such. The latest display of of global (mainly in the east plus Brum & a few other places) protest merely reinforces my view.

No offence like.

And just in case the R-card is displayed, I am in awe of the courage displayed by this lot

They are most likely to be Muslim, no matter. I am able to appreciate their action whilst not subscribing to their beliefs and for these people, I'm sure they would afford me the same.

It must be very difficult for the reasonable practitioners to see their faith manipulated in such a way, but I really do think there is a strong cultural element in this.

One thing I'm sure about - there will eventually be a head-to-head in the west as I don't see the nutters chilling-out any time soon & their influence appears to be growing.

Now, where'd I put my flame-proof pants?

This.

So why not just put them back in the godforsaken countries they come from, leave them alone and stop helping them to cause death and destruction in the civilised parts of the world?

You are of course correct. I should have said it was "supposedly" said by Jesus.

We (the west) currently have the upper hand as regards the ability to wage wars and win them. Should we strike while the iron's hot or should we let allahs mob catch up?
