If you missed it I did put I do not know if it's terrorists related, indicating that I did not know but it could be a possibility.

I agree about the window - it’s pretty awful not being able to see outside. I wonder though if it’s because it really is a ‘supamax’ they have to make it narrow so a human physically can’t get out (or in).
And ensure one is not aware of their surroundings. These people are mass murders and highly dangerous. These measures are taken for a reason.

But you still want the perp sent to the US if a terrorist and want Hamza back here, eh? That all seems very logical.

Just as an indication of how our wonderful legal system can screw the tax payers for ridiculous amounts of money , who knows if this is terrorists related they may be able to top it.
Your not helping, is there anyway if it was terrorists related we could ship him off America, a terrorists attack on American forces must give them grounds, perhaps we need a new law. wink

I'm not sure people are going to lose much sleep knowing that a terrorist who has desires to promote the killing of many people has the ability to look out of a window or not.
I'd prefer he lived in a situation of absolute sparsity, offering him only food and water and a dirty $hitter which he must clean himself, whereby he lives in absolute rage and anger against the western society that put him there until the day he dies.

That's just vindictiveness and makes us little better than him. His crappy values have lost and will continue losing. He's in a tough jail. That's enough.

But on the Mildenhall thread you want the (apparently non-terrorist) perp to be sent to jail in the US. Stick or twist?
If that’s at me (?) I haven’t commented on that thread at all.

That was directed at PVRTVR, whose thinking on this issue seems (being charitable) to be a little confused.

Surely it is wide enough for them to display a cartoon charicature of him like some sort of penis or bellend though through it?

Cell ok but give it a bigger window. I would allow some monitored social interaction with other prisoners as isolation is inhumane. Books on approval. Strict limits on anything that could involve proseletysing.
Who cares? Are you worried you might end up in there or something? The inhabitants of ADX Florence are some of the worst and most dangerous people on the planet. Keeping them in isolation and away from civilized people is a million miles away from lowering ourselves to their level.

What an unfathomably bizarre thing to say. Some of you really don't like debate, do you?

On a wider note, the US criminal justice systems (State and to a lesser extent Federal) are more error prone that the imperfect but still just about functioning UK systems.
Hardly surprising when Judges are nominated for their political affiliations, and so some cant even answer basic legal questions or have never been in a courtroom!

State Judges are often elected and often dire. Roy Moore was a State Judge. He was fired for racist shenanigans. Federal Judges used to be good, but as politics become more partisan their quality reduces.

That fkwit who was on the telly last week has at least withdrawn his application, but two other unqualified candidates have been approved. Even if Trump is impeached (please, Santa), his legacy of judicial appointments will fk the US for years to come.

It seems to me anyone who 'preaches' death, suffering and the torture of innocent women and children as well as armed combatants is totally outside the realms of any entitlement to civilised treatment. He has neither repented nor given any sign of regret in any way, only repeating his threats.

All of his 'preaching' is in the name of his professed 'god'. He should suffer the kind of treatment he demands for those of whom he disapproves so strongly. And allowed to complete his journey to his idea of paradise.

While he and his like-minded disciples know they are only likely to suffer the indignity of no more than discomfort there is no deterrent of any value.

What do we do? Continue slapping their hands and aggressively deliver a strongly worded 'now don't do it again - there's a good chap'? Nobody is pulling teeth or poking out eyes so it's his bible, not ours. We are not only tolerating but actively encouraging our own destruction. How's that for idiotic pub based bovine excrement? As has been said by commoners so often - the law is an ass.

You really are the epitome of the Daily Mail pub ranter, aren't you? Do you have to work at it or is it a natural skill? Kudos either way, as even in the competitive field that is NPE you stand out.

True to form. Your arrogance spills over and you attack the man. That confirms so many characterisations. Not very adult either. You do not debate, you dissemble.

Appropo earlier posts, and not the effluence of wrongly attributed gleanings from much-maligned Daily Mail sources, whether one reads it or not, events reported by Sky News 3 hours ago give details of a police and MI5 prevention of terror activity in Sheffield and Rotherham. Attacks on Christmas markets in Yorkshire have been prevented. Visitors to such markets would presumably been of all faiths and none, so indiscriminate at best. 'Nuff said, really.

The counter to such stuff is good policing, prosecutions, and jail sentences. All seems to be working pretty well so far.
