The softie hand-wringers over here would take him back too, wouldn't they?

I bet that going to prison in the US - to quote Shawshank - is the hardest time their is. Let the tt rot their. I bet they love him.

More likely that he knows a life sentence in the US will mean life whereas if he gets back over here they'd probably let him out within a year.

Why don't we send his family to be with him in the US prison?

We are not allowed to deport his family (even though his wife isn't even a British or EU citizen).

telegraph said:
Britain cannot automatically deport Abu Hamza’s daughter-in-law despite her criminality because of her son’s EU citizenship, the European Court of Justice [ECJ] has said in a judgment.

The comments are a blow to the Home Office which argued that the government should always be able to order people to leave the country in such circumstances.

About time Abu Hamza was left to wring his own hands.

Oh, wait...

Nevermind. Let him rot.

His lawyer said being kept over there is against his human rights, which probably means he hasn't got Sky Sports.

Let the fekker rot in jail where he is.

or, like Italy, just deport anyway and pay the fine. The whole thing is a complete charade.
yes

The fine is peanuts as well. Instead of spending a fortune on prison costs, housing benefit, state funded human right lawyers etc on such criminals we should just kick them out and pay the fine.

You really think the UK judiciary system would judge that a person could be punished based on the actions of another person?

can you clarify? If we don't have to listed to the ECJ then his appeal to come back to the UK fails. Sound sensible to me not to let him back in when we spemt what 11 years kicking him out?

Who is paying for his legal representation?

Regarding 'article 50' I thought May said all the stuff that's already occurred in EU legislation is going to be enshrined in our laws before we leave? So we'll be stuck with all these decisions already made such as his daughter-in-law not being kicked out; all the human rights stuff etc

A start, but seems like too little too laye. How much misery and destruction do these people have to cause for such a simple and obvious measure?

It does beg the question as to why this has not been done for anyone else who went to Syria to fight and then returned to the UK.

Oh well, looking forward to the whinging from the likes of Gary Lineker & Lily Allen rolleyes
