As a father of a 2 year old and a bubbly 5 year old girl I can barely lsten to the news. It breaks my heart to they still haven't found her frown . I'm not sure 1,000 policemen could keep me from the person that took my children.

We are relating to a certain extent too - our 5yo daughter often plays outside in the street though not till 7.30PM.
Mrs asked tonight what would I be doing if it was our daughter - ripping the place apart till I found her I think!
(Daughter got extra hugs tonight - hope to God it all ends well for April).

That is not really what I meant - my 5 yo daughter is in her jims ready for bed by that time, on a school night, regardless of the season/daylight etc.

Note: I am in no way criticising the family here - just saying!

I had 17 minutes and 28 seconds in my head for Bristol for some reason, but it's actually only ten there. Anyway...

Ok I see what you mean.

I must add that I grew up in Wales in a lovely rural village everyone knew each other and we would play out in the street /fields etc. if you we're naughty your parents would know about it ASAP.
It's very different to everywhere I've lived in South Wales and in The south east.

I'd say this would be something that those who have never lived in such a place would think that is so dangerous or not get it - but I do take the time into account however she was playing with her friend directly outside her front door.

Just what I was thinking. When I heard that there was a press conference at this time of night, I thought it was going to bad news.

I don't think they know, basically. We don't even know for sure that the chap held has anything to do with it. He hasn't been charged yet.
