Quite a shock I would image when she opened that. The funniest part is that the company wanted to setup instalments!! eek

It has also apologised for the gaffe, which it says was down to a printing error and a subsequent misunderstanding between the client and staff at their call centre
Had to laugh at them trying to place some of the blame of their cockup on the client.

Bill was probably due to spending forever trying to get through to the company to complain on the £1,000 a minute helpline wink

Someone obviously took their iPhone abroad and forgot to turn off the roaming data feature.

Good to see they offered to let her pay it in installments!

I can't see what the problem is. If they offered to let her pay it off at an eminently reasonable €25 a month, she'd have had the whole pesky affair behind her in just 39,070,000,000,000 years.

And you can't say fairer than that.

This is why I like being on PAYG. These cowboy s that run telecoms have no interest in cuctomer service or even attempting to communicate properly with their customers.

It's clearly a mistake but the stupid fkers stick to the script and say it must be paid.

fking nobbers.

With a bill that size you can always make an offer; you'd probably get away with 1%.

Funny story hehe

Looks like the sort of bill Europe is expecting from China sometime in the future.
