Girl speaks out against size-ism
Discussion
The very term 'sizeism' seems very problematic to me.
What is healthy, or sexually attractive, is a fact of life, not a prejudice like racism.
All these fat women proclaiming they are big and beautiful are rather missing the point. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and, judging by such non-scientific criteria as FHM 100 sexiest polls, western men prefer slim women. The few who aren't would be termed plump rather than obese.
And before anyone asks I am a bit overweight, I was rather more so before I lost a stone or so by dieting.

FHM 100 sexiest just cares who is on TV. Tulisa FFSWhat is healthy, or sexually attractive, is a fact of life, not a prejudice like racism.

The words 'size doesn't matter' are only ever uttered by men with small dicks and women with huge bellies and/or small chesticles. End of story.

If she 'really' wasn't bothered about her size she wouldn't feel the need to lie about it.Halb said:

I'd say she looked slightly larger than a 16 but it depends on her height. I didn't realise she was only 18 y/o though, I thought mid 20s atleast!
I would have guessed at 18 maybe. But the conversion between UK/US sizes might be off?IainT said:

But the conversion between UK/US sizes might be off?FWIW I don't think she looks mahoosive, but the debate isn't about the absolute here, but rather her silly stance on the matter and, in broader terms, the health and lifestyle issues for people if we all just STFU and say nowt 'sizeist'.
I love that there is a massive swing in popular opinion that this fat lass is fine/normal/attractive/healthy.
I spend 4 hours in a hospital today, mainly waiting for this and that. Fatties outweighed normal people 3 to 1, easily. Why is there this left pressure to make everyone feel greed / lazyness / a bit of both is a perfectly acceptable lifestyle choice, and should be immune to criticism?
I'm not defending this size 0 bks, just questioning the popular opinion that being just this side of obese is normal or even a positive thing (see pretty much every story on Adele praising her for having the guts to be (in her own words) "too lazy to go to the gym").
For the record, i don't buy that impossible to shift the weight bks either. If anyone so afflicted does 500 hilly miles on a mountain bike without losing a stone, i'll personally buy them a gastric band.
