How far will house prices fall [volume 4]
Discussion
Perhaps a question that shouldn't be asked but, will the undoubted proliferation of terrorist attacks in capital cities start to affect London house prices ?
I wouldn't want to live in London because I dislike big cities but it would certainly be in the back of my mind if such a choice arose =(

The fuel price (which is a big factor) is going to bottom out though, maybe not there yet but it's getting there ..
Sure, but once it hits bottom it continues to influence cpi for the next year until it drops out of the figures.Rate rises are off for another year folks. Plan accordingly.

Agreed. KT post codes are ok but not at 8M. Closer to 4M plus the grade 2 listing puts a lot of people off because it's a pain in the ass to get any work done quickly and to ones taste. The 'new builds' St Georges Hill 8m all day long on 1 acre plots circa 7-10k sq ft.The heating bills alone on this house would be astronomical and despite everyone thinking the rich can afford it, they tend not to want to piss away £1,500 a month in oil/elec during winter

Neighbours place is 100 acres and thats 12M or at least what they paid (Russian). Enough room for horses, as in proper equestrian facilities and they play Polo. 14 acres is not big enough for these sorts of sports but big enough to cost a tidy sum in upkeep. The specific location must be a big factor.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
