No, the overall operations involved are huge and I guess not just the police, but the system as a whole, is not capable to dealing with them concurrently. It is regrettable it took so long for the issue to be understood, but I do think the delays now are more understandable.

Do you believe this abuse has ceased?

Sadly, I am fairly sure not. The abuse reported here - the sexual exploitation- is the highest profile activity (most newsworthy) but by no means only criminal activity and abuse of the vulnerable.

Have two of them not shaved since 2013?

I wonder if the sentences will run consecutive or concurrent.

Shouldn't we wait for the jury to deliver their verdict?

Absolutely. My bad, I thought they'd been found guilty.

Make no mistake, what this thread represents is merely the beginning of the end, rather than the end itself. There is likely plenty more in the pipeline.

The French tell muslim women that they can't wear burkinis and the world is outraged, you have women flying halfway across the world to protest. There are protests in the middle of London by the outraged.

Another gang of muslim men abuse girls as young as 12, one girl was raped by two men "at the same time", and it doesn't make the front page of the bbc or sky news, yes it is there but you have to search for it. The bbc article says neither muslim or Somalian.

Where are the outraged women, will that Aussie woman fly over to protest to the government ?

Why don't we all campaign for the government to let thousands of muslim migrants in - that we know absolutely nothing about ?

Not all muslim migrants will do this and yes we have our own problems, but I bet Girl A probably doesn't care if some good Muslims aren't allowed in, if it keeps the bad ones out.

It all seems slightly inconsistent.

It's in Shropshire too:

I know this is old news, but was shocked to find it.

It appears that "we" made a film warning school girls about "loverboys" - Muslim men who befriend young white girls, and the horrors that then follow. Loverboy being a Dutch term where they first noticed Muslim men grooming young white girls - Turkish and Moroccan - that blows the myth that it is only Pakistani men from a certain region of Pakistan.....

The film was supposed to be shown in all schools to highlight the risks of grooming but was supressed and not shown to many at all for.............

Fear of upsetting the Muslims community, you couldn't make it up.

On BBC Radio 4's PM yesterday they had a feature, or 'package' as politicians have been known to call pre-recorded pieces they're then asked to comment on or reinforce, about what was being done to stop the seduction and misleading of impoverished teenage girls in Romania to try to stop them from becoming 'modern slaves' and being trafficked across Europe and sold on multiple times.

So the taxpayer funded media can warn about the dangers of Romanians being lured into modern slavery and be sold into the sex trade, but we can't educate our children about the same dangers?

British kids are less susceptible to being groomed into becoming prostitutes or we shouldn't inform them of the same dangers?

And we're back to Home Affairs Select Committee Chair Keith Vaz reportedly saying 'This is a lot of money where they come from' when complaining how much his Romanian rent boys wanted, and reportedly offering them a £50 finder's fee for each new rent boy they introduced him to.

If you compare the internet posts / traffic on the French Burkini Ban and Ched Evans with those relating to young white girls being raped in the ***, it is truly shocking.

Nobody cares, Mumsnet are very vocal on Ched Evans, but only Racists and Vociferous Bigots seem to be bothered about young white girls.

Yes we care about Romanian girls being trafficked, Nigerian girls being kidnapped, Z list celebrities crying in Calais Camps or campaigning for water in Africa, but not our own children ?

Not that surprising - those topics are ones on which people have differing opinions, so there are many discussion posts.
Somewhat different to this topic which covers vile acts which, I would hope, are universally condemned by everyone on here. Hence there's little to actually discuss.

The concern I have is the public perception that this happened in the past and has been dealt with, whereas we know investigations are ongoing, offences are ongoing and the abuse gangs sphere of activities, in many cases, also links into other significant areas of crime that blight the country. One would hope the police still have this as priority, even if the press and public don't always seem to.
