Good i hope they make the arrests as public and humilliating as possiblehttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2738773/Po...
"The scale of the operations being drawn up across the country is said to be ‘almost beyond comprehension’. The number of victims will make the Rotherham child abuse scandal – in which 1,400 children were abused over a 16-year period – look like the ‘tip of an iceberg’.
A police source with detailed knowledge of the plans told The Mail on Sunday: ‘This is going to be a day of reckoning – and it’s about time."

Well that is just racist, I mean you read what all the folks in defence of these communities on this thread put about how there is no issue in this area and how much it is the fault of everyone, indeed anyone and anything else. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2738773/Po...
Can you not see the multitudes of posts now continuing the defence of these heinously hard done to men in this loving and caring community... see them.... oh no hang on they are not there and they have fallen silent.
You know what would be really nice for a change - if just one of those people came back and said, f**k me folks how bloody wrong was I, this is shameful - sorry!

But why now? Should not the police forces up and down the country been dealing with it when it was happening, it would appear by how quick things are moving they had lots of information before today and failed to act on it.A police source with detailed knowledge of the plans told The Mail on Sunday: ‘This is going to be a day of reckoning – and it’s about time."

Or to be precise, it was from Kevin whose job it is to get the coffees for the news room every hour, or perhaps the Encyclopedia of Useful Quotes.Countdown said:
Perhaps GMP could publish names/pictures of the people they want to "help them with their enquiries"?
Not sure that is good plan - due process and all that, but Police/Imams inviting people to come forward????? And how many more cities/towns?Anyone found it difficult to get a minicab tonight?

on the same pageCyril Smith admitted spanking and touching boys, but I let him stay, says Lord Steel
The political establishment in the UK have been "looking after their own" for years - so that isn't an exclusively Pakistani trait.

I agree and the Libs should hang their heads in shame and Steel (who was a political Icon during that period) should withdraw from public life and keep his mouth shut from here on.
However, the "establishment" paedos seem to have been "retail variants" as opposed to the other guys who were at it on a "wholesale" basis imho
It's all disgusting. A system that is rotten to the core. However, the "establishment" paedos seem to have been "retail variants" as opposed to the other guys who were at it on a "wholesale" basis imho
I can't see an end to it - so many people and the institutions they work in compromised beyond repair.
Something that I raised on the UKIP thread, but of all the various revelations what is the Gtr London, or London Borough / Metropolitan Police situation here? I've not seen or read any comment on this, but could have missed it. Or other cities?
Obviously Bradford and Rochdale have been mentioned But if it's happening in a rural-ish place like Skipton, then what about Glasgow, Birmingham, Kirklees, Leeds and so on?
