There's 63,193 in there that are either under-declaring their number or batting well above their average for aggro.
They'd win that, hands down.Joking aside, the stats are interesting and of course there are many who (reasonably - it is a big country, after all) assert that further analysis of the Pakistani sub-set would be revealing.

But then the 'racism' flag would be run up the pole, no?Joking aside, the stats are interesting and of course there are many who (reasonably - it is a big country, after all) assert that further analysis of the Pakistani sub-set would be revealing.

So why is it the Pakistani side of "Asians" are up to their necks in it and the Indian's seem "good eggs"?
Chinese are not involved either for that matter. Plenty of white Brits have been though... .I'd like to add that "up to their necks in it" is perhaps <cough> a little strong.

It is probably down to the class/demographic of the immigrants - the backwaters village Indians seem to be pretty rapey too. In Indian cities, I mean; it has made the headlines here occasionally.grumbledoak said:

Most people in India are not Muslim but Hindu , 80% or I think less than 15% follow Islam.

I believe the 'backwards villager' bit makes them that way inclined and the Islamic teaching makes white girls particularly desirable/excusable. Sweden's little rape epidemic seems to be backwaters Muslims, though their immigrants are Kurds. It would from that appear that it is a religious issue and not race.

Not so, Sweden has been very good, with an open door policy to all refugees, asylum seekers and others fleeing conflict more recently many Muslims from Syria & Iraq.Transmitter Man said:

Very good? They have Muslim ghettos, riots, rapes, plus a media and governement who allow no ctiticism of multiculturalism at all. And that's very good? Are you serious? Whoosh parrot time?flyingvisit said:

Whoosh parrot time?Anyway, back to the facts: the Mirpuri region was the most underdeveloped area of Pakistan - the last to get electricity and move from a subsistence type economy - where marriage between first cousins is the norm. Pakistan is a huge place and lumping all of it together is misleading, as the outlook and experiences of someone from, say Karachi, will be very different from those of the more isolated interior of the country.

700 birth defects a year.
1/3 of them despite being less than 3% of the population.

"It's a public health issue and we deal with public health issues by raising awareness, by talking about subjects such as obesity, such as drug addiction, such as alcohol," she said."But for some reason we're told that we mustn't talk about cousin marriages because this is a sensitive issue.
"I think it's absurd, we have to talk about it in order to find solutions."
Really sad situation ' anyone know of any impediment why they cannot be joined in marriage" - Wedding Registrar needs to ask more questions
That is incredibly sad for the poor kids, and to be honest the parents too.
I noticed over the summer that I seemed to be seeing a lot more clearly disabled kids from ethnic minority families than white families, but I thought it must have been an oddity based on where I was during the summer (spent a lot of time in and round Skipton, Keighley, Bradford), or coincidence. Maybe not.
Still, it's awful for all involved. Kids don't deserve to suffer because their parents are not exactly clued up about these things, or ignorant to them.
