No such information available in any reports.

Not to forget Hagamannen, also a fine produce of the town.

So, it was 1991, there was a conservative government in power, 'open door' immigration wasn't policy, 'multiculturalism' wasn't a word and PC had yet to go mad. So why the failure to act?

From the other things I have heard about Birmingham City Council, this appalls me, but does not really surprise me.

Well nothing has changed.

CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION IN WEST MIDLANDS TODAY

THE Birmingham Mail revealed in October how an official West Midlands Police report – completed in August 2012 – had shown that 75 per cent of known on-street groomers in the region were Asian, while 82 per cent of girl victims aged 14 to 16 were white.

Indeed. This is the same City Council that was "oblivious" to the Trojan Horse infiltration of state schools by hard line Pakistani Muslims.

The other thing they will be "oblivious" of will be the systematic plundering of the benefits system by the same community. The number of "single parents" with multiple children, paying rent to a landlord who happens to be the father of the children and living with them, will astound you. It has become a community norm. No one dares to bring it up.

Be careful with your terminology.

Unemployed = people are without work and actively seeking work

Many housewives have plenty to do but are not "unemployed"

Well it's what I read in the Telegraph. I'll try and find the link.

Asian cabbies = Pakistanis.

This will carry on until it directly affects those in Westminster. Or vigilante groups start taking the matter into their own hands.

I think you will find that Multiculturalism has been around in the UK since the early 70s. I certainly remember it from my school days.

its not that far away tbh, a packistani lad on a street close to where i live was locked away for the drugging and gang raping of a white lass and for a good month or so my area felt like it was on a knife-edge just waiting for something else to tip it over the edge

Well, I don't remember it from mine, and I was only 19 in 1991. I'm sure we learned about other cultures and religions, but I never heard the word 'multiculturalism'.

I remember a case where one disabled kid was passed around various "asian" families to enable them to claim DLA for fictitious disabilities-when the doctor came to examine the family's healthy son, that disabled boy would stand in for him, plenty got DLA untill a doctor recognised the boy as one he had seen many times before!

The biggest danger is that it becomes an anti Pakistani campaign, anti all brown colour people = all because of many rotten apples in the Pakistani community.

Did the "community" know? Answers on a postcard. But many people in authority also knew (tantamount to aiding/abetting) - need to bang them up too, another mega Yewtree operation.

Slightly off topic - other than perhaps looking at root causes of the groupthink which allowed some of this mess - but I am fairly sure multiculturalism is a new-ish word, in terms of wider use, although it did originate in the 1960s. To me, its rise to prominence smacks of Common Purpose, but I may be wrong. Certainly as recently as 2004, even the BBC were asking "what is it?".

I dont know, i know that the white community had no idea. Just to make matters worse some of the Pakistani youth in the area have made it quite clear they dont like white people (graffiti, property damage, abuse shouted at white people) so i can imagine some knew but didnt care because it was a white girl innit

YEP
Seen the graffiti myself am aware of the incidents just recently of the cruise lads going round shouting abuse at white girls in Edgebaston.
Think the guy above is nearer the mark than most. There is a bit of a backlash building in parts of brum and there may well b e a kick off soon.
