Common Purpose

From the bent copper that drove a Ferrari 458 to his day job at the police station thread.

So Trojan Horse Schools were all over the news with regard to the bickering between Michael Gove and Theresa May's SPAD Fiona Cunningham along with 'British values'.

That case of a chap at a school in Birmingham getting done for Extreme Pornography didn't make the BBC or national media did it?

It could seem that they were working with a 'common purpose'.

I am not sure if it was Louise Casey or Champion the MP that said the Council there was like stepping back in time.

But Rothpol mentions the Common Purpose angle?

Perhaps the Council was run like a fiefdom but with CP methods and tactics?

I've not seen the reports of people saying it's in other towns and cities in the north, but could there be Common Purpose type cover up, hand wringing and 'learning lessons' at those Councils?

Are Labour the scapegoats for Common Purpose clans feathering their own nests?

You would not believe how rife CP is amongst our public sector. The schools and BBC are a lost cause, councils like Rotherham are rife, NHS with their nasty bullying of whistleblowers, police and law not much better having seen a 16 year old accused of seducing a 50 year old teacher only the other week.

Difficult to say how to combat it without a revolution. shootsmile

Maybe they did not realise the girls were so young - their dressing style confused them, they are so used to black letter boxes.

"A serving Rotherham councillor suggested teenage victims were to blame for their own exploitation because their 'modern dress' and make-up 'fooled' Asian men.

According to the report, the unnamed councillor - who still sits on Rotherham Council - said the girls tricked their abusers into thinking they were adults by 'the way they make up"

It's like this, if they'd been kept at home instead of being sent to school in their provocative school uniforms they wouldn't have attracted the men and taxi drivers.

If the girls had been kept at home none of this would have happened.

Once again...how any white person with a daughter could possibly still vote Labour defies belief.

Are all CP people Labour?

I'm not sure where this sits with the Frankie Boyle comment on the matter:

Westminster taking control shuts down looking into what the Home Office knew about what was going on in Rotherham years ago while Blair was in charge?

Rich, a professional cynic like you should know the answer to that - there is an election on this year and sex abuse is old news at the minute when they have IS playing up, Greece about to default and so much else to 'report' on.

Better in their eyes to report the World news and to push this to the back of the list for the minute. They know that this is a story that will run for a few more years at least yet so why use it when there are other things to push to the fore, not to mention that they do not want any suggestion of interfering with the election, which will come.

They said on the 13.00 Radio 4 News that the Home Office knew the part played by taxi drivers in Rotherham in 2002. And it seems in 2014 that that problem and the issue of licencing of taxi drivers still wasn't sorted out.

oh good Lord there is no link to political affiliation and abuse as any number of scandals over the past few years have proved - what does seem to be happening though is that the relevant councils and social services departments have closed ranks and blocked meaningful investigations frown

You're the BiB have a look around the Rothpol website. It seems Labour helped Shaun Wright get that PCC role despite being well aware of the child sexual exploitation that was going on during his tenure with the Council.

Another Labour former Council big cheese with responsibilities for Children is now the Labour PCC for Notts.

Why are Notts. police all over Operation Daybreak whistle blower Melanie Shaw? Why aren't the mainstream media poking their noses in there?

They had lots of resources available to film the raid at Sir Cliff's place though.
