tterly astonishing. Thank you for mining this info.

I'm replying also in the hope a few others see this and it begins to become more widely publicised.
On the 22.00 Radio 4 News at about 32 minutes in they discussed Labour and UKIP in Rotherham and mentioned how the govt. had to take the Council over, and how the Council and other agencies had failed there.

The last paragraph seems to be saying society can't arrest it's way out of statutory rape?

I'm sure if one of the victims was to use a racial slur while being raped police would find the time to arrest her.

Or just confronting one of your attackers in the street.

It does sound like the police tried to rectify the situation once they realised what had happened to her.

'Whilst she was in custody officers realised the identity of the woman and made sensitive enquiries with her regarding her previous allegation.

As much as I lack respect for her and am suspicious of many of her motives, on this point I agree; you can only arrest those you have evidence against.

What is clear now - something many of us have already discussed - is that there is something culturally deviant about certain immigrant populations in regard to abuse, proven by the sheer numbers convicted alone. In fact, what she seems to suggest is what many police and social services officials had originally suggested but were called racist for so doing, is that there needs to be profiling of efforts to prevent similar offences.

In fairness, I think that there is equally fertile ground in the the minds of the seemingly ever-growing indigenous Jeremy Kyle fed, feckless underclass that pervades society these days.

That article seems to be supportive of this woman & her views.

There is something of a dark irony in this part though:

Only cos he couldn't get it up due to his age, the dirty fker. Drag them through the streets behind a truck and let the crowds loose on them. It's what they'd get "back home".

Oh and give him another 10 years for helping Keighley exist. The place is a sthole.

As the father of a 4 year old girl, I'm surprised no-one has gone after those fkers, and the rest, in a jihadi-style quest of ultra-vengeance.

There's time yet.

I don't generally approve of vigilante justice, over the real thing, but there are times - like when Ian Huntley got his head kicked in - where you're less concerned by it. I don't think time inside will be too cosy for any of them.

They will be of Pakistani decent, then the entrenched attitudes to women will be mentioned along with community education, the fact is we have imported en masse a large number of 3rd world people who have brought their values and attitudes, most working in industries where cash can be funneled (taxis and car washers) and no tax and Vat paid, don't get me started on the genetic effects of boning your cousins

You have to wonder how much more of this crap will be revealed before people start to administer some rough justice. The police and legal system have failed those they are supposed to serve.
maybe they took the example of what the police did with information relating to the activities of saville, cyril smith, janner and a whole host of supposedly the great and the good that were never investigated at the time they were allegedly involved in abuse.
i would like to see the law applied across the board, not much chance if the willful ineptitude of the south yorkshire force is anything to go by. to be fair ,derek has explained what happens to the ordinary rank and file when they try to do anything .

Thanks Digga. smile

I'll explain the statutory rape comment.

I am not sure if it was a trailed for The Detectives or Police Under Pressure, but it featured CCTV footage of an Asian chap booking into a B&B/Hotel with a young girl with her skipping around the foyer behind him. I came across that TV trailer on an Australian newspaper website. So syndicated newspaper websites and agencies means trailers for TV documentaries get onto website worldwide. Perhaps I was half awake, but I assumed that the link to the video on the Australian newspaper website would have been for something in Australia not here in northern England.

Playing back the CCTV for the TV programme you can hear what sounds like a northern Englsh Asian accent saying 'It looks like she's enjoying herself', with what I assume was a female police officer saying 'But, she's underage it's statutory rape'.

Don't Councils have code of conduct with regard to not knowingly or intentionally doing anything that may bring the name of the town or council into disrepute? Where does that sit with the Council in Rotherham taking out High Court injunctions to try to stop The Times reporting on what was going on with the mass sexual exploitation of kids?

So the result of the choices and actions of the Council and South Yorks. Police is that CCTV footage of grown men checking into hotels with underage girls becomes the content for TV documentaries that get shown globally, or just in the English speaking world?

So we can poke our noses into the Middle East and Asia with drone strikes while not sorting out the sexual exploitation of kids in our cities?

Headline states 'ISIS burn girl alive for refusing to participate in extreme sex act'. It's horrible and terrible and sex crimes are committed against kids in Africa and African war zones, but it's hypocritical if we're not putting a stop to it here in the UK.

Hasn't it been reported that police officers said the girls consented and had made 'liefstyle' choices, even though the girls being underage it was statutory rape?

'Statutory rape' is also ringing in my ears following the last three The Detectives with Savile's mate Ray Teret.

So we have TV documentaries showing Teret and glimpses of Talbot for offences committed decades ago while we're failing to intervene into the same offences being committed today? It doesn't make sense.

Thinking about the Ray Teret part of The Detectives perhaps Berelowitz has a point in that kids need to be educated or warned? Should kids have been warned to stay away from Teret's record shop?

On The Detectives they showed an officer driving down to the South Coast to interview the grown up son of a police officer that was aware of Teret's activities and kiddies disco and bingo. So like the police officer that ejected Cyril Smith from his home after Smith made a lunge for a young boy why wasn't something done then?

Cyril Smith, Jimmy Savile and Ray Teret. How many opportunities were there for their activities to be disrupted or stopped? We can't change what happened in the 1970s and 1980s, but I am not sure enough is being done to stop the same crimes happening today.

The establishment and public sector are getting excited about the anniversary of the Magna Carta. Doesn't that say something about nobody being above the law and people being judged by their peers?

People aren't being judged by their peers due to the politically correct sensitivies of the judiciary and the public sector?
