I've not had time to check if that relates to that children's home in North Wales where big cheeses are thought to have met up to abuse the inmates.

Observation: From what has been reported the 'historical' abusers seem to be of white British origin, while the more recent occurrences seem to mostly be Pakistani or similar Asian. In both groups they obviously thought they could get away with it.

A very brave woman.

I am waiting for the first victim of a living Lord, MP or Royal Household employee to speak out 'publicly' and be given a voice by the mainstream newspapers & television.

However, I'm not holding my breath.

A court order and or D9 notice comes to mind to force anyone to keep their mouth shut until such a time as the peado is long dead.

Hear hear.

Read the article, but can't bring myself to watch the video - although I hope it might help galvanise the nation into taking abuse more seriously, whoever the victims or perpetrators may be.

But will action against the 'animals' be ramped up so we have zero tolerance, minimum 20 years jail.

Trying in vain to understand all this. Does anybody think that the historical abuse is a power thing ? In that,we are so "important," we can get away with this. I really cannot see the sexual aspect to it.with the current crop of abuse, up north.I see that as nothing other than sexual abuse . one thing I will say,and it does not excuse the behaviour in any way.is that the Pakistani abusers would have a slightly different outlook with regards to women and sex.in Pakistan they would not normally have girlfriends and have easy access to women.as I say that is not an excuse.and I do not in any way condone any abuse of any person.
Just trying in vain to understand what is going on.
Does anybody have any thoughts re this ?

I'd say not having access to girlfriends in Pakistan is a terrible excuse, they know it's wrong and if they are immigrants can we not essentially deport them as the crimes are very serious

If you distill the crimes and ignore incomes, races, religions, backgrounds, you have two, very similar cases; people taking advantage of their power (read also ability) to prey on vulnerable individuals. Nothing more, nothing less. Cowardly, cold, manipulative, evil.

The last time I looked at the Rothpol blog about a fortnight ago there was a piece about councillors and taxi licencing in Rotherham. Has anything changed since the Govt. took over the Council there?

No, castration then long sentences.

Jacking off in prison is too good for them.

Wonder what the sentence would be in their own country? And how many kickings they would have already had at the hands of the police?
