That injunction that attempted to stop The Times reporting on it didn't get a mention on Radio 4's World Tonight programme forty minutes ago.

Their feature on Rotherham where their MP said it was boys and girls of all races, creeds and whatever being sexually abused was followed by a feature on the British premier of The Hunting Grounds on rape and sexual assaults on US college campuses and the way it's not reported or dealt with as the colleges don't want the bad press. 'First world problems'?

Well, the Muslim 'community' has apparently had enough in Rotherham. The youth, and the elders, have decided to boycott the Police.

It appears the Police are not doing enough about hate crime. The Muslim 'community' are all over this lack of action by the police. Pity they weren't all over the lack of Police action over the many peodophiles in their midst. Any cries that they didn't know about it just don't wash.

And don't forget, we only got Police action after the media informed us about it, after a lost legal campaign by the Labour council and Police to prevent the truth coming out.
20 plus years ago the police in Rotherham arrested a taxi driver. The Muslim community rioted outside the police station and the police let him free and didn't press to stop anybody getting hurt.

The way I heard it he may have been driving a taxi but on a relatives licence.

I find the concept of "no go areas" - either geographic or topical - utterly distasteful. If the law of the land is not being applied fairly, equally and evenly throughout, it is the thin end of the wedge.

However, in the real world, we see how interest groups and those in power believe (sometimes correctly it would appear) they can hi-jack the system.

So the "Muslim community" said yesterday they will not co-operate with the much discredited South Yorkshire police force. Today we learn....

Its a pity that the very vocal "community leaders" are silent on the subject of child rape.

Closing ranks isn't unique to the Islamic community.
The Catholic church also close ranks ( to quote from Pope Ratzinger "on pain of ex-communication" )

Those that hide and protect them - there is a special place in hell for them.

No matter how perverted your flavour of sky fairy is- I'd wager they really frown on such behaviour.

I sincerely hope those convicted have the most painfully brutal and uncomfortable time in prison.

Great timing, it's as if the Police have just said, 'you want to boycott us? Here's what we think of that.'

This would appear to speak volumes.

Still, accused is not convicted, but one assumes the CPS has sufficient evidence. We shall see.

If the community persists in non-co-operation, given the seriousness of previous prosecutions and current charges, the conclusion must be that they have no interest in living by the law of the land. It gives them little argument against profiling.

Of course, what will be interesting is the impact all the cuts are having (closing children's centres, cuts to social services and services for the vulnerable) will have on other poor girls in this situation.

Why, indeed how, do you persist in this delusion that the social services staff were preventing anything or safeguarding anyone? The social services staff were putting the girls in the taxis! For the sake of other vulnerable girls let's hope the cuts hit them hard.

My step mum was a social worker in child protection (although not in Bradford or Rotherham). I suspect I have a idea about this sort of thing than you do.

This has been going on for twenty years. Was it cuts twenty years ago when they ignored it?

Also cuts stopped foster parents in rotherham fostering because they were ukip supporters nothing to do with anything else. Just cuts. No liberal mindset the same one that ignored what was going on, stole and hid reports. Cuts all cuts they would have sorted it out if it wasn't for cuts.

That does explain your position on this. Though probably not in the way that you think it does...
