Exactly, these individuals (I refuse to call them people) are as guilty as the perpetrators of these vile crimes, they refused to acknowledge the occurrence of these vile and obscene acts due to 'Political Correctness' and not wishing to offend the sensibilities of a certain demographic who were at the time, and still are, a significant influence on the Rotheram Council.
A disgrace and an indictment on the Labour philosophy of 'multi-culturalism' which meant an influx of third world village mentality Pakistanis being let loose in this country with their mysoginistic and primitive beliefs being their ethos for life in the UK.

Can't disagree with the contention that certain employees in the Council/Police do need to either resign or be removed from their posts BUT I cannot agree that they are as accountable for the systematic rape, torture, humiliation and brutalisation as the Pakistani men who perpetrated it.
Clearly their were huge errors and seemingly a cover up (and for that Criminal proceedings do need to be initiated - particularly against those whose motives appear to relate to the colour of their skin) but it was solely those Pakistani men who carried this out.
As an aside and since it is now obvious to all that young white girls were specifically targeted, I do hope that in addition to being arrested, charged and eventually found guilty, that the Pakistani men concerned have their sentences increased due to it being an all too obvious hate crime. I won't hold my breath though.....

Possible, what I do know is that it is not just white girls that were targeted. Any young girl, including a Pakistani runaway is fair game to this scum.The problem is that these perverted cowards with low self esteem, can hide easily within these large communities. It does not surprise me that it is Pakistani men, I would hazard a guess and say some of these are cab drivers. It is a certain type, either one recently settled into the UK, or a young one, born in the UK, but living in the safety of a community where it is easy to hide.

Possible...I think what I am beginning to consider about the broader issues - not only the abuse gangs, and the failings of social services, but the attitudes of the police, the people who were supposed to looking after children in care homes - is that there is a political culture and a distinct mindset with regard to political correctness. Speaking after today’s sentences, Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh said: “This has been a very complex investigation, covering several police force areas.

“These people were members of a paedophile ring. I believe that they have committed other offences.

A man who raped a vulnerable schoolgirl and abused three other young teenagers has been jailed for 15 years.
Lee Crutchley was found guilty of two counts of rape and two charges of assault by penetration on one vulnerable girl, as well as seven charges of indecent assault and one of buggery by a jury at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday.
Jailing him Recorder Brian Cox QC said Crutchley had shown ‘no remorse whatsoever’ towards his victims, who were all aged under 16 at the time of his abuse.
“Your offences reveal you are attracted to and are a danger to girls of age 13, 14, 15,” he said.
Mr Cox said one of the victims, who had a relationship with Crutchley when she was 14 and he was in his mid-20s, said his abuse had ‘ruined her life’.
He said Crutchley’s most serious offences were against his most recent victim in 2012, who he raped and abused when she was aged 12 or 13.
Mr Cox said: “You had by that time a history of abusing young girls. She was vulnerable and you believed you were safe to abuse her because she had those particular problems.”
Crutchley had been charged with 16 offences in total that were said to have occurred between November 1990 and June 2012.
He was cleared of two counts of sexual intercourse with a girl aged under 13 and a further two charges of indecent assault.
Prior to his trial, Crutchley, of Victoria Street, Dinnington, Rotherham, pleaded guilty to two counts of producing thousands of pounds worth of cannabis at his home.
Crutchley was also accused of sexually assaulting one girl’s mother 22 years previously but was acquitted of those charges.
Following the verdict, DC Dave Wilson, from South Yorkshire Police, said: “For more than 20 years, Lee Crutchley has preyed on schoolgirls taking advantage of their young age and their innocence. He is now in prison and that is where he rightly belongs.”

When police raided his home last January he told officers: “Something terrible has happened, I am evil.”
Three other members were jailed last year. They were Simon Wyn-Davies, from Windsor, in Berkshire, retired farmer Nicholas Cordery, from Wiltshire, and IT trainer Anthony Flack, from Bristol.
Cordery owned the farm where some of the gang’s sex abuse was carried out.
Yesterday, another member of the same gang, Simon Christopher Collins, aged 58, from Chippenham, in Wiltshire, was jailed for seven-and-a-half years for arranging the commission of a child sex offence, aiding or abetting a woman to allow bestiality, making indecent images and possessing extreme pornography.
Speaking after today’s sentences, Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh said: “This has been a very complex investigation, covering several police force areas.
“Today’s convictions demonstrate the commitment of the Met’s paedophile unit to use all audacious and lawful tactics to capture the most dangerous sex offenders and protect the most vulnerable.
“These people were members of a paedophile ring. I believe that they have committed other offences.
“Anyone who believes they have been a victim is urged to contact police.”
This thread reminds me of the Huhne PtCoJ thread where one poster made himself look an absolute fool by just repeating the same mantra despite having many others explaining the issues in many different ways and from different angles.
He just kept on the same refusal to accept that anyone had answered his question satisfactorily yet refused to answer questions put to him. Rather a lot of people put him in their personal ignore box.

In trying to make the valid point that white males also commit CSE be they English or other heritage it has been effective in cruelly exposing the issue that there appears amongst some to be a reluctance to accept that there is a clear set of common factors with some sectors in some areas.
2015 GE election will be interesting. Withmy connections Iin the area have never heard such anti Labour pro UKIP feelings before. From people who historically would have voted for a greasy pig if it had a red rosette, and basically with D McShane and S Wright pretty much did exactly that.
