Obviously all the co. directors here can't see the workers hovels from the big house, but maybe we could ask the butler to check with the under footman. Are the poachers stockpiling?

Not sure what to make of this. How close to the edge do people think we are? Obviously all the co. directors here can't see the workers hovels from the big house, but maybe we could ask the butler to check with the under footman. Are the poachers stockpiling?
I will tell you what it will be, It will be the working people v the ruling classes. Most of the small business owners I speak to are fed up with the rules and regulations which complicate the job, coupled with the multi-layered taxation lots of people are wondering why they are bothering, the Govt. take more out than the owners in most cases.
We see local council executives failing upwards, we see golden handshakes and golden goodbyes given out for little real work, we see mistakes made with social service care that leads to children getting killed and still no-one loses a job, they just get shuffled sideways and get more money, we see a courts and prison service that is old, full up and slaps the wrist of repeat offenders while punishing those who work and infringe some regulation the most because they are seen as an easy target for more money.
We see failure rewarded while we pay. We are being frustrated out of our vehicles by loony road narrowing/calming/charging while we try to pay for all this by actually getting to work, we cannot get cheap reliable travel on public transport because the system doesnt work yet the roads round me are clogged with buses all with 2 or 3 people on board.
The jobless idle class are looked after and placated, the door was seemingly open for anyone to come and join the free money party (I say seemingly because that is what certain papers reported, true or not, the working people are still pissed off about it) No, the next set of riots will not be teens who want to rob Foot Locker (although they will get in on the action anyway) it will be the fed up paying class firebombing local council buildings and having mass demomstrations about being taxed and hassled to oblivion.
The problems and anger that caused the Truckers fuel protests of a few years ago is still there, it has not gone away it's just bubbling away, the Govt. know this and have every right to be worried, once it starts it will be hard to stop. The police round here could not give a st, they are fed up too, paperwork, staff cuts and no back up once they do catch anyone, no, the two coppers I spoke with over a cup of tea in my garage when I was broken into said that they feel the danger comes when the TV goes off because of power cuts, or the food is not on the shelves because the trucks cant get fuel. while people are fed, warm and entertained this country is just about ok, if you get a break in one of those for more than a few hours or repeatedly then watch out.

In that case it would be worse under more Labour incompetence, how come the Guardian didn't point this out in their critique of the city 'leaders' politicised rhetoric?Gulf between rich and poor cities widened under Labour
Gap between rich and poor has widened under Labour
Inequality worse under Labour than under Thatcher
It's OK, I can see why.

Make things fairer to the north by giving the north more money.
Makes sense, the North has had billions invested in it, yet it's still ste and nobody wants to live or work here. Funny that.
True that. I'm sitting in my hovel, shovelling another whippet on t'fire to keep me from freezing. All around me is a desolate wasteland.Makes sense, the North has had billions invested in it, yet it's still ste and nobody wants to live or work here. Funny that.

Some home truths there [not too sure about the TV entertaining though ] but most are afraid to even contemplate the notion....We see local council executives failing upwards, we see golden handshakes and golden goodbyes given out for little real work, we see mistakes made with social service care that leads to children getting killed and still no-one loses a job, they just get shuffled sideways and get more money, we see a courts and prison service that is old, full up and slaps the wrist of repeat offenders while punishing those who work and infringe some regulation the most because they are seen as an easy target for more money.

Interesting as Birmingham council have already made some rather large cuts to it's budget It is now holding forums around the city for people to attend with more ideas as it now needs to save a further £200 Million per year. Of course being a lefty city this is all down to government cuts and freezing the council tax e.t.c.
What the headlines don't show is that Birmingham council have been treating it's female workers unfairly for years and years, they have ignored many calls from unions and others to put this unfairness right and they have taken the legal route right to the end. This could have been stopped ten years ago or even more but now some estimates of correcting the unfairness is £700 Million. They have conveniently forgotten to mention this when they talk of new cuts.
