I think guns are pretty cool, but the thought of using them on something made of flesh is pretty disturbing to me.


The whole 2nd ammendment was for fighting the native americans (indians, redskins whatever it is), the whole thing should be moved along with the times, people can enjoy guns, but there needs to be more sacrifices from those who own them.

Saying that though, you can sort of appreciate where some of the paranoia comes from as the US doesn't endear itself well to a populous it imprisons a huge % of.

There's the issue; guns ARE cool. They're conpact little gadgets built to contain fking explosions, and when they do their thing they'll get the heart racing like nothing else.

Except, the idea of a bullet tearing through flesh, or shattering a skull is fking disgusting.

The whole 'right to bear arms' thing is akin to a teenager being told he can't have his favourite toy, and using his parents past slip of the tongue / unfortunate mis-phrasing against them... Maybe along the lines of "you can have a gun so long as you promise never to shoot your sister in the head"

So he shoots the neighbour in the face - didn't promise not to! Keeps the gun.
