Lately, well past the 10 Years since I have been interested in what goes on in the world I have seen much negativity towards the EUeespecially on PH.

I shall, make my position clear, I don't mind the EU, I think politicians like to play the blame game when their policies are not popular even though they agreed with what the EU wants to implement.

We can talk from influx of foreigners to abu hamza, tachograph s, Greece, Spain , farming and working hours.

Why do you dislike the single market idea?

I don't think anyone dislikes the free trade area.

The problem is the extra layer of bureaucracy that goes with it.

I know, in the abu hamza case you can add the court of fuman rights, however to most people it all can be summed up as the EU.

Can we have some specific laws, even better laws that the UK government wouldn't implement if possible

The EU has meant lots of extra regulation for me, regulation that was not needed and has over complicated the job.

There are many more forms to fill in and directives to comply with and it all adds up to make the job harder to do while staying within these boundaries.

It comes down to our national "mentality" we police the rules and check to see if everyone is complying, other EU countries seem to be less interested. Greece for example, I see smoking in bars, mopeds with no helmets and I am sure the working time directive has not been implimented with the vigour seen here.

It is not a nice level playing field when a Polish truck driver can come here and earn lots of money while we all fret about if we did 46 or 47 hours this week and if taking a holiday will put our averages over for the 17 week period.

Get us out, let us be compeitive again, I am sure that even if we had customs and visas again there would be less man hours wasted per year than we waste now filling in forms and making sure we comply.

They have taken away our right to decide on our own laws.

That in itself is treason by those hwo have allowed it.

Well if we want to be in the free trade area, we'll have to go along with a lot of the policies.

But immigration appears to be one bugbear for many.

a whole ten years and you haven't figured out the difference between free trade and a fledgling federal european state run for the benefit and agrandisement of the political class

Surely the best example of a single market is that with as much taxation, legislation and political harmony as possible?

Hence why it's so easy to trade between one city and another in the UK - same language, same regulations, same currency, same people.

Taking Greece as an example doesn't make you wonder how and why Greece can get away without taking the EU legislations to the letter yet we can't.

As I understand a EU directive allows for laws to be different in countries if the the result is the same.

Am I wrong here?

Immigration is out if control however I don't think my business would survive without my 3 eastern European cleaners.

Are you suggesting they are the only people capable of the job, and would be removed from the UK if we left the EU?

Yes and I'm not really sure about them being removed, it would probably sound good to 80,% of the population.

It's not made much difference in my line of work, apart from making it easier to work on European projects.
We also benefit massively from employing educated European graduates who have a decent engineering education.

Only 3 people in the world can work for you doing this particular type of cleaning?

Like many people I would put that into a single word, The European Union. I know it's simplistic of me to think that but I can assure you there's loads of people like me. Especially the ones that read the Daily Mail

I would of thought that by now I would have had a few examples of why the EU is ruining our country.
