You never noticed him playing the obedient lapdog/sidekick to Bush jnr then?
Blair is the most charismatic party leader (let alone PM) we've had since Mrs T by some considerable distance.“Tony Blair had been as popular a prime minister as there has been. And now, he’s the most unpopular ex-prime minister ever,” said George Jones, emeritus professor of governance at the London School of Economics & Political Science. “He went right to the top and has now fallen to the very bottom. It makes for a very tragic story.”
Surely Incapability Brown would give Our Tone a run or his money.
And from The Guardian no less: "Don't be nostalgic about Tony Blair. His effect on Britain and beyond was toxic."

Thick minions won't follow my lead, they'll vote Labour as usual
As above, I don't need Labour and would rather the country prosper as a whole than see another spell where poverty gaps widen and social mobility drops as Labour steers UK plc towards another cap-in-hand meeting with the IMF.
As I thought - you prospered under his leadership, pocketed the money and show nothing but contempt. As above, I don't need Labour and would rather the country prosper as a whole than see another spell where poverty gaps widen and social mobility drops as Labour steers UK plc towards another cap-in-hand meeting with the IMF.
Christ, he must have really gotten under your skin
I also withdraw my vote for you. Hopefully G&Q will allow that. Under the circumstances.
Still, we're all in it together eh?
Well, until Boris tts David, David gets rid of Micheal for pissing off every part of the education system whilst darling Ms May alienates the whole rank and file of the police force. And the 'fools' vote for the other side.
Nevermind.
I expect the top rate of tax will drop from 45% a couple of months before an election so some of us will be happy.
Not the bankers naturally. No. They'll have run off to foreign fields because of unfair legislation...
LMAO

Has anyone seen or heard of the photo where 'blair is sitting with his feet up on a draped British soldier's coffin? Was wondering if it is a Photoshop.
Fake. I doubt even he would stoop that low.http://www.thatsnonsense.com/view.php?id=1591

I thought as much but, having found no joy with Snopes, thought I'd pose the question.http://www.thatsnonsense.com/view.php?id=1591
Thanks for the link!

A role previously filled by Piers Morgan. Never thought I'd be so pleased to see Alastair find gainful employment. But just goes to show, everything is relative. 2013BRM said:

Quite. I sincerely hope I missed an A380 sized parrot
The worst excuse for a PM we have ever suffered in the history of this country.
Snake oil salesman does not begin to cover the level of lying, incompetentance, self serving, mis-administration and society braking crap that this war criminal and his odious wide mouthed frog of a wife have inflicted on this country specifically and the world in general.
His cynical conversion to Catholicism after leaving office tops it all for me.
Be very aware Tony, you will answer one day. Hopefully, sooner rather than later you utter st bag twunt.
If I ever have the chance I'll happily plant one on your smug and odious face.
Being a national hero is so last century - it's all about being a global hero these days. First the GQ 'Philanthropist of the Year' award and now this:

The international charity Save the Children has been engulfed by a furious backlash from staff after it presented Tony Blair with a “global legacy award” in New York last week – despite privately acknowledging that he is a controversial and divisive figure.
Amid widespread criticism on social media, many of the charity’s staff have complained that the presentation of the award has discredited Save the Children (STC). An internal letter, which gathered almost 200 signatures – including senior regional staff – in the first six hours of dissemination, said the award was not only “morally reprehensible, but also endangers our credibility globally”, and called for it to be withdrawn.
It said that staff wished to distance themselves from the award and demanded a review of the charity’s decision-making process.
“We consider this award inappropriate and a betrayal to Save the Children’s founding principles and values. Management staff in the region were not communicated with nor consulted about the award and were caught by surprise with this decision,” it said.
The move has also raised questions about Save the Children’s (STC) integrity and independence because of close links between the former British prime minister and key figures at the charity’s helm.
Its UK chief executive, Justin Forsyth, was a special adviser to Blair for three years, and Jonathan Powell, Blair’s former chief of staff, is currently on the board of STC.
