It is just the like Middle East Peace Envoy 'irony', he and his chums are beyond mortal justice now and gloating.

Why people pay huge amounts to listen to this living turd's speeches is beyond comprehension.

Blair is the most charismatic party leader (let alone PM) we've had since Mrs T by some considerable distance.
it's not like there was a huge amount of competition though is it sunshine?

Blair was Charismatic I suppose. To the people that latched on to him, it was scary how he was defended. I think a lot were afraid of his enforcers, wonder how many skeletons Mandy knows about.
Adolf was charismatic and scarily defended too. Loads of people afraid of his enforcers and I suspect Goebels knew where all the skeletons were.....

Does the award from Save the Children have a cash alternative?

If so it would be a win, win situation for Save the Children and Blair

I sometimes visit another web forum (I'll leave you to speculate wildly as to what it involves hehe) where the members are generally left-of-centre and some very hard-left.

There was a "who is worst" thread, Blair vs. Maggie and, interestingly, it crystalised around the realisation that although many on the left would not like Thatcher, some did, alone -naturally - with a majority of the more right-wing thinkers. However, Blair seems to have mastered the knack of pissing all and sundry off and the numbers of people considering him to be if not outright criminal but at least deeply suspect were pretty much evenly spread.

Where do you start or end with an attack on his character? The friends he kept, the political and business associates, the grasping guppy bin of a wife...
